The only report I heard/saw (as I was watching the rugby) was just before Watford scored, Kamara on Sky Sports said we were looking okay, he did say we were pasing it around along the back four and midfield but always going side ways, he did say it was starving Watford of the ball and we were retaining possession although albeit be in sideways movement, nothing going forward but looking okay.

I think our problems stem right back from not having these players in place for a proper pre-season, if that would have been possible or not I do not know.

Just read Hock's comments regarding his conversation with the ref over Sam's red at the end. Apparently the ref says 'listen, appeal it and if there's no contact then it will get rescinded'. Okay, sounds like a fair refereeing attitude sending players off when they aren't sure because the club has the right to appeal AFTER the game! And we all know that we don't get red cards rescinded even if replays show no foul play! (still can't let Matt Smith's v wednesday go!). I smell a conspiracy (but hey, we all knew that!)

Possession stats are very misleading, just ask Bayern Munich after their home 4-0 tonking by Real Madrid ... we had zero shots on target, so how we were ever going to win is a mystery ... red card after 65 mins not 5 mins so how is it in all that time we never tested their keeper ... Hock and his "we desreved a 0-0" mentality is just ridiculous ... players passing sideways most of the time shows two things, the system does not encourage creating goals and the players are sticking to low risk football for fear of joining Smith on the bench

Penalty........very iffy.....this is a scourge in the current game, touch a player very slightly and he goes down as if he has been shot. Tell me how does a player with a very low centre of gravity and very good balance go down so dramatically with such a gentle touch on his shoulder ?

    Third goal, terrible defending
Fourth goal...reminiscent of many shots that Silvestri has had trouble with this season....

Forgive a contribution from a WFC supporter - unlikely to be neutral I know.
For once the stats bear out the game (WFC 27 shots, 6 on target LUFC 4 & 0) and the result.LUFC really didn't look like they'd ever score without help -which you duly got.
WFC looked comfortable for almost whole game - say 10 minutes in 1st half and 10 in 2nd where the passing looked as if it might lead somewhere. 1 good header over the bar (WFC had a better on that missed).
Essentially WFC were in control against a limited unambitious team with little idea of how to score.
The pen was a typical 'modern' penalty. Defender on wrong side trying to put attacker off. Attacker goes down with any sort of contact. ALL TEAMS DO IT. LUFC management seemed to think it was correct decision. Allow that 3 proper goals were scored , and remember that for 3rd goal there were defenders in spades, so no 10 man excuse there, and 4th was a free kick where lack of a player was also irrelevant.
Looks like you have a hard season - but hey most clubs go through this. Only problem for LUFC is that because of history ( Revie's methods, arrogance ownership issues, Bates etc) LUFC aren't liked very much.

You really should not let your partisanship cloud your judgement.........

I can still remember from way back in the late sixties (if memory serves) a passing movement that was absolutely sublime, as were the Leeds side at that time. Cannot remember the date or the time or the number of passes but can still remember the passing move...

when you are trying to make a serious point, you really should not talk bollox.....
when you are wumming...it is mandatory

who are WFC? oh, w@nking fcuking cnuts!! Here's some info for you, seeing as you clearly believe what you read ... Leeds were given the "Dirty Leeds" tag by the Scum loving media because they derailed the Man U train that was meant to go and dominate for years after they won the Euro Cup ... under Busby and with Best, Charlton, Kidd, Law, Stiles, Stepney etc, Man U were set up to become the greatest ever ... instead a "provincial" upstart came from nowhere and under a great manager helped to destroy the Man U myth, lifted other clubs in the league to believe they could compete, and Man U were done .. their drunken, philandering wife-beater walked away when the going got tough, and in 1974 while "Dirty Leeds" walked off with the title, Man U were relegated ... that is the effect Revie and Leeds had on Scum, and the media hated Leeds for it ... in the history of the game no team has ever won a title by kicking teams to pieces, and specially not in a quality division like the First Division of that era ... you had to be fcuking good to win the league in those days, because there were very few bad teams around .. so, go and count your League Championships, FA Cup and League Cup wins, Charity Shields and European trophies and when you reach the same amount Leeds have won, come back and talk up WFC ... London clubs hate Millwall because their fans are the most passionate in the city by a mile, the Scum loving media hate Leeds because they destroyed Busby's United

    Bravo.
    12/10 response.
Current players should be told that tale before signing on.

Goodness me, I really had no idea you people were so well balanced - a large chip on each shoulder. It is characteristic however of supporters of any club who used to be good i.e. they think they are too good to be where they are. Well the facts are that LUFC rose from anonymity for a few seasons and then subsided before a good season 92 ? 93? winning the league, and then have collapsed (hilariously in some respects, sadly in others) to where they are now. And in passing, the hooliganism of LUFC supporters in those days e.g. throwing lumps of coal at trains, smashing the windows and causing innocent people to nearly become blind should be put alongside the supposed achievements of the team.
Interesting that you seem unable to comment on the game as that was my main reason for bothering to post. Sorry if I intruded on private grief.
Shan't bother to raise your BP any more since my attempt to suggest(no more) what a lot of people think about Leeds has met with such dopey ignorance. Anyway, just to increase your paranoia, LUFC had a couple of winning seasons in the seventies, and a couple of good seasons, being dominated by Liverpool (who?) principally in that period. So what ? Where has it got you - currently the 6th best team in Yorkshire ?
Perhaps a dose of realism and a willingness go let go of the past might be useful. It might also be helpful for some of you to recognise that supporting a football club is NOT all about how many trophies you've won, but comprises attitudes like respect and humility.

Bodho, if you're going to comment on the game, fair enough. No one is in any doubt how poor leeds are at the moment. The sending off obviously influenced the game, but noone here is bitching about the result.

But if you're going to make comments like you did at the end of the post, you can hardly get all defensive if it provokes a response. You're obviously not that clued up on our history, so it might be best if you either do your research or don't bother commenting on it. We might not be the only ones beset by dopey ignorance.

No-one is under any illusions that history counts for nothing in the present, but we're proud of our past successes, as we are ashamed of past indiscretions.

    Which indiscretions would those be?
You might be in a minority with this one.

You're the one who brought the past up, regarding your comments on hooligans, most clubs had them, we just had one of the better crews.....regarding Liverpool even Leeds won the title more recently than them.
