So no Mario or Lallana... but we will have Moreno and Marky Mark. Be interesting to see how John Malkovic can do.
Some fair points in that Redmen TV preview. My team (largely what they said ): -----------------Migs-------------- Manquillo--Skrtel--Lovren--Johnson ---------------Gerrard------------- --------Allen--------Henderson----- -Coutinho-----------------Sterling- --------------Studge--------------- I'd see how that went and then I'd almost certainly bring on Moreno for Johnson in the second half, at some point. Also, I'd maybe bring on Markovic for the last 20 mins or so.
God no. -----------------Migs-------------- Manquillo--Skrtel--Lovren--Moreno ---------------Gerrard------------- --------Can--------Henderson----- -Coutinho-----------------Sterling- --------------Studge--------------- Sadly Johnson will play though.
Can (big potential there!) for Allen would add defensively, but I think when Allen came on for us last week we looked a better team, so I'd stick with him. Unfortunately, you are spot on about Johnson.
Markovic and Moreno are fit for this game, Lallana will be for next week. Anyway, game day tomorrow. I'm thinking 3-1 to city.
I'd go with a 3-1 City if Johnson plays (which he will). If we go Manquillo and Moreno I think it'll be a 1-1.
Will be interesting what happens with the full backs. Have a feeling he'll move Johnson to RB and play Moreno at LB, dropping Mankiller.
If Moreno and Sterling strike up a good relationship on the left hand side - we could be ****ing lethal on the right. Both are quick, both like to take players on, and both are offensive and also strong defensively. Could turn out to be amazing to watch.
It's game day........ Migs Mankiller skrtel lovren. Moreno Sterling Gerrard hendo. Coutinho Lazar. sturridge. With Lazar and sterling swapping
----------------Mignolet-------------- -Manquillo---Skrtel---Lovren---Moreno- ----------------Gerrard--------------- -------Henderson-------Allen---------- ---------------Coutinho--------------- -----Sturridge------------Sterling------
Looking forward to seeing Markovic play, as well as Moreno. Hopefully Balotelli will be confirmed today as well
I hope Rodgers has the bottle to start both Moreno and Markovic, but I doubt it. They should be charged up raring to go... I suspect Moreno will start and Markovic will come on for either Sterling or Coutinho aorung the 70min mark.
