Tottenham's second goal was 48 passes before they scored, without a tackle from a QPR player. That is more passes that ended in a goal than the whole of last year in the premiership. Early days, but when you get players in late and have no pre-season with them all playing as a team, no wonder they look lost. Well that settles it then it wasnt the formation or who was chosen it was a collective lack of effort in closing down and winning the ball. Sunderland played well against this formation so thats worrying. I have never ssaid this before but if Man Utd have the back 3 they finished with today then we have a chance of point(s)

So the team played poorly as a whole and lost. Probably fair to say that Spurs played much better than normal, hence the 48 passes and the 4-0 score line. I'd be even more worried if we played well and still lost by that score. Onwards and upwards.

This is funny. If he's directly responsible for what happens on the pitch, that would make him directly responsible for promotion then, no? And if the man management is left to Steve Black then shouldn't he get a share of the blame for yesterday's performance? (Not that I think he should. Its a farce even mentioning his name either this season or last)
