The longer it goes on, the less likelyhood Hocks will go. Cellino is a spur of the moment person. If he has time to reflect on :- a) The lack of time the squad has had to gel b) Still 4 or 5 players short of team c) Hocks only had 4 league games in charge If you read Cellino's comments after the Brighton match (a much worse result as we were at home) he was livid just after the match, but had calmed down the next day and was making excuses for Hockaday. If you put both these statements together, the Hock stays (for the time being) Am I happy about it? No
Phil Hay @PhilHayYEP · 6m Cellino says he had decided to sack Hockaday yesterday and was ready to do so until he spoke to Hockaday about half an hour ago. #lufc Phil Hay @PhilHayYEP · 5m Cellino: "If I fire the coach I should fire myself because I haven't signed enough good players. How can that be his fault." #lufc
No worries he'll be gone after Bradford or Bolton because we're shyte whilst he is ....... what is he doing anyway because it's not giving coaching, tactics, advice or even chewing gum? He watches a different fooking game too because we were great yesterday. If we carry on this vein we'll be bottom of the league in a fortnight but doing well because we're only getting beat 1-0
@PhilHayYEP: Cellino says he'll wait until the squad is finished before judging Hockaday. "Maybe he's not a good coach but I can't say yet." #lufc That suggested to me Hock has been given a stay of execution
He has been Eire. But I can't help feeling that all these newbies need to up their game.... that and the Hock find a formation and style that works for us.
A cup win this week could blur the entire landscape. While it would be worthless to us, could extend the hocks stay by a few more weeks unfortunately
Will be there early to voice my opinion assuming he appears on the pitch. And even though lashed out cash and taking an early finish from work I hope we get battered again. He has to go, for the sake of the bigger picture.
Is it really Hockawally's fault? Cellino's choices Berardi - not good enough Bellusci - good enough but will be suspended more often than not Bianchi - not good enough Benedicic - not good enough Doukara - Not good enough Silvestri - Not sure yet but he's made a few howlers already and can barely kick the ball outside his box Antennuci - Haven't seen enough of him Doukara - Not good enough Hockawally's choices Billy Sharp - Good enough - your best signing so far Ajose - Debatable Cooper - Good enough - Much better than Wootton and Pearce anyway! I think the fingers have been pointed in the wrong direction
Interesting comments TC. Probably too early to judge on the newbies TC. But as Beradi will be covering for Byram unless we appeal, I hope your judgement is wrong.
