Why didn't we get a replacement before we sold Long? I know Southampton may have only given us a limited window but if they really did want him they would have extended it. Now we have sold Long we are considered to be desperate for a striker whereas before we weren't thought to be desperate. Our rush to sell could easily have cost us a few million rather than gained a few million.
Is there no chance of us getting Remy? He's standing out by a mile for QPR in their game vs spurs. He's fast as **** and would do much better with our crossing play too.

Sky are saying that Blackburn want £12m to sell Rhodes so it's not like they wont sell at all. I think we should pay but not throw in Alex Bruce as well. We need all the central defenders we can get.
