I can only empathise as it's the haters who have that effect on me (even though I can see how Lewis would irritate people ) Interesting point! I guess Newey and timing are factors which would come into play here. Nevertheless, I am personally very impressed by the softly-softly intelligence I see from Daniel whenever an opportunity arises. It's almost like an invisible talent that he has, in my opinion. While we're on the up-and-coming topic, I'd like to admit that I was wrong to underestimate Bottas and also to say that McLaren would be nuts to dump Magnussen; however, I suspect Ron Dennis is just playing hardball and Kevin will be there next year.
I can only presume that the fans feel they paid to see something better than what they saw. 'You pay, you say' as they, er, say... And even though Spa is one of the cheaper tickets on the calendar, they have paid and I don't think they should be condemned for speaking their minds.
kMags been given a 20s penalty, undeserved in my mind! Speed trap shows top speed was 214mph today, please log in to view this image
yeah, I don't think the RBR will be challenging for the WDC for a couple of years, by which time I think Kvyatt will be ready for a seat, or maybe even Verstappen, who after Kvyatts performances, I have less of a problem with than I would have.
I can't access Autosport, can someone explain the reasoning the stewards have given for Magnussen's penalty?
like to see the shot of that from a couple of seconds before, then we'd see that they were four abreast with Ericsson in the middle.
Gone a little under the radar but! 2013 fastest lap: 1:50.756 2014 fastest lap: 1:50.511 First time all season that 2014 has been faster than 2013 in dry-dry comparisons?
I can't quite remember how last year's race played out but I think the circumstances of the last few laps this year (pushing hard on fresh tyres) will definitely have helped that comparison. It's still awesome to see that though.
I'm right with you on this one. Frankly, I think it demeans Alonso, whose actions on-track are so much more impressive every race than the actions of his team.
meh, I bet he was on the radio ready to complain before it even happened, I'm surprised Perez hasn't been given a penalty for breaching the Alonso resistance 1.1 protocol.
