For the month running up to the beginning of the season I argued and received great criticism when I said our side is worse than twelve months ago, however im just wondering if any of you are beginning to consider that I was right.

We need three top players one to replace remy and one to replace Cabaye and also a CB.

Anyone that thinks De Jong an cabella replaces cabaye think again and before anyone gets all mmmrrrrrr about remember in usually right.

Cabella replaces Ben arfa De Jong is a different player and rivière is no remy.

Team is more or less the same, squad is better. No-one on the board would argue that we have adequately replaced Remy, no-one on the board is arguing the CB's are good enough. Debatable whether you feel SDJ is as good as Cabaye or not - for me he showed more in the 20 minute cameo than the rest of our offensive team managed across both matches.

Naturally the manager remains the problem - we have the exact right players to play modern football, and a 90's manager with no ability to bring the best out of them. The attacking 4 looked a bit lost, no-one seemed to know what they were doing. Even so, hard to argue that we weren't the better team. Willo airshot, Gouffran airshot, Cabella comedy fall, SDJ straight at the keeper. We weren't great to watch, but with finishing ability it could have been 4-0. I just get the feeling that it'll always be "what if" under Pardew, he just has the aura of a man who is never going to get the rub of the green. It's almost as if we conveniently mess things up so he can take another beating.

In an ideal scenario where we are a genuine challenger to top 6, yes, but we're not. We're fighting to finish 8th, thus we have players who can just about do that. My issue is that we could have Lukaku or Diego Costa up front and with our inept tactics they'd struggle, so for me a manager is the solution rather than another player or three. Not going to happen, but that's my two pence worth.

In all honesty that's the attitude that Mike Ashleys has successfully created in the minds of our fans. We've been controlled in to handing over money and accepting nothing for it. Everton have less money than us but the owner wants success.

We will never get any different regardless I wasn't saying we would be top 6 I said 12th which isn't good enough for newcastle united either us tenth.

I won't gave it others may may

We are newcastle united this is my city and my heritage

5 year plan, good business blah blah blah

Keep taking your medicine tomorrow it will be better.

As I've said so often, the problem is that Sky have successfully created the monster, not Ashley. Football is greed, that's all it is. We get 10th, we want 6th. If we finished 6th we'd demand 4th, and so on. I think it's not really right to slate the owner today with 9 purchases this Summer alone, including two young English lads who look the business. He's got YOUR football club on an incredibly sound financial footing - you and your children and beyond those will have a Newcastle United to follow, more than likely in the top flight.

I'm a little done with moaning about the owner. He's made a lot of mistakes, but this Summer has set about rectifying them. The one mistake he can correct for near enough redemption is to get rid of Pardew and bring in, say, De Boer. Ashley can do nothing about how average we play or what players Pardew/Carr think are good enough. And ultimately we have to give it at least 6 games - including Gillingham - or perhaps 10 before deciding what's what.

I said my city and I stopped going to games long ago under Ashley. I can't criticise a man making millions out of idiots my point is that at the start of the season I got abuse for suggesting we are worse which we are

You all.have accepted to get ripped off not me is what I'm saying.

I refuse to join the Ashley ant swarms I've got my own at home.

He'll sell the side again and rebuild every few seasons it's not normal other clubs don't take that **** they just stop going.

Ant good manager would not take the Ashley way either so your stuck with brown lips I'm afraid

Rectify problems hilarious are you a fish?

It's just in a cattle market mate

The only problem he ever had is rectified and it's not the fans concerns you don't matter at all.

It's perfect now just what he needs

The next 6 league games are vital for us.
    Palace
    Saints
    Hull
    Stoke
    Swansea
    Leicester

All games in which we have a very reasonable chance of winning. But equally we could be turned over. We really can't afford to drop too many points in those games. Our Christmas & New Year fixtures look like a nightmare, so if we're already struggling going into those fixtures then it won't be pretty.

    I still think you're wrong Mr T.

I think we're slightly stronger as a team and quite a bit stronger as a squad. We still need a goalscorer, and I worry about Steven Taylor playing next week so we need a back up centre-back (tho I still think MYM is worth more time). Far too soon to be writing the team or individuals off tho.

Maybe you should, then you have something to blame this drivel on.
