NEARlY scored PNP isn't good enough in my book when we are cruising therefore strikers should find it easier but he isn't. Now 3-0 up at half time should mean a hatful coming, I hope it doesn't stay this score. Push, push, push for more goals. I repeat, get Bobby Sol on.

  3. No word-eating Roo - I wanted to see the reason why we invested €30m and looks like we now might. He looks a totally different player today, although admittedly against a very very poor QPR. If he can stay fit, then we may have a very decent player on our books!! :emoticon-0148-yes:

.....If this wasn't a match, I would have though it was a fruend training session. Attack V Defence but the defence don't tackle, don't press.

This is good for QPR to get hammered as they need to change their system to have a chance but they are making us look like world beaters.

So what will Gullit say about Lamela on MOTD2? That his crossing is awful and he didn't influence the game?

Want to see faster pressing of their back four + MF, and faster forward passing from the back thru MF.
Because that is what the Poool will do to us, so we need to give it back.
We also have the Limassol game to get the squad working on this too.

The same goes for Capoue I think - he looked so impressive in that first game last season at Palace before getting injured. He has been really influential today as well.
    And as for Chadli...... <laugh>

The play between the 4 "forward" players has been brilliant today. - creativity, clever runs, movement into space, support, and most importantly an end product.

QPR bringing on Nedum Onuoha for Richard Dunne. Isn't that a straight swap? Onuoha to right-back and Isla pushed up, perhaps?

    No insults, please. <ok>

Caulker with a free header from a corner, but it goes wide. Need to watch that kind of thing.

We're wasting chances at the moment, but it's nice to see us continuing to create them.
Another goal for us would destroy their confidence utterly, but if they were to nick one then they'd have renewed hope.

To be fair we shouldn't be trying to point score with each other over players as we all follow the same team and I noticied fans who are now getting excited over Lamela where slating Bentaleb last season and calling him useless but they have gone quiet on that front. Also Rose is impressive but no mention of him? we all rate different players and have a laugh with certain ones but we follow the same team which some of you should remember.

As for Lamela a year ago I and others where defending him and saying he needs time and one of the posters who is now claiming to be his biggest fan, wasn't convinced, it swings in roundabouts but good game to watch and Chadli (as I predicted) is the new Bale.

It's the final pass that is either over hit or too early or too late. Adebayor needed to get Ferdinand to almost commit himself and then slide Lamela in. Anyway here's hoping it won't matter at the end.

Bentaleb is replaced by Dembele. The youngster's played two full games in the last 8 days, plus the hour today and he's been excellent.
The Belgian had an impact against Limassol and this extra run out should be good for his sharpness.

You're hard to please RDBD! After some of the dross that was served up in our home performances last season this is a massive improvement!

Its great to watch but with the talent we have, if a team just sits and lets us play then we will play this football. You remember the Newcastle home game under AVB, we played football just as good as this but couldn't score so I'll like to see what happens against teams that are set up correctly but still enjoyable game.
