Lamela is getting his crosses in the 6 yd range. That bodes well for the season.

Slightly stuttering break from their corner, which Adebayor struggles to get any power behind, leaving an easy save for Green.
Nice to see us countering with a bit of threat, though.

Hull are down to 10 men in the other game, with James Chester being given a straight red.

QPR's 3-5-2 is a shambles. Not going to work for them and its making them easy to counter and expose down the wings.

Philips exposes the problems with our high line and misses a very good chance.
QPR have offered very little so far, but it just shows how vulnerable we can be to relatively easy passes, still.

Ferdinand didn't pick up a foul for about a year recently. Lucky to escape a yellow for that one on Lamela, though.

Eriksen hits the underside of the bar with one of his standard free-kicks. Very unlucky not to score.

The ref is doing what I said they'd do with this foam, which the Italians seemed to get early.
Players refuse to retreat the full ten yards and the official ends up drawing the line where they've stopped.
    Very weak, if entirely predictable.

Vertonghen is playing well although this high line makes me nervous!
