Its ridiculous, if Di Maria signs for £50m. United would of spent £190m in 12 months on transfers alone! I think Chelsea or City never spent that much in 12 months!
That's nowhere near I said we needed to spend. Over several years we are still hundreds of millions behind City and Chelsea. In fact we are behind the RS too for the last 4-5 years combined. More importantly, we need to spend big to improve that squad. We are nowhere the £300 million I said we needed.
Chelsea spent over 150million the season that Roman took over. They've spent more than 85million in each of the last 4 seasons. After City were taken over they spent 127million, 125million and 154million in successive seasons. Because of the genius of Sir Alex, United were thrifty by comparison. They're now playing catch up. Of course the difference is the money being spent has been generated by the club, not gifted to it by a sugar daddy.
Bad news guys: Barca has made a huge bid for him. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...-bid-for-angel-di-maria--reports-9687353.html
Not impossible. There have been transfers between the 2 clubs. It does at least show that Di Maria is top top drawer...
The RS is right (for once ). It is still in the balance and unless he has put pen to paper and passed the medical at OT , he is not United's yet.
Don't worry he's **** and he had a **** World Cup. Argentina's run to the final had little to do with their forwards, it was down to the defenders like Rojo. Oh no, hang on...
Matth just tweeted how thankful he is to CR7 for his part in DM's proposed move to United. https://mobile.twitter.com/carrick_fan/status/503244477725941761
