ok now mr dyer do you want to be a part of this team . if so make your peace with beppe and the fans that pay your very high wages weather you play or not .
how about this for great planning . i fly into the uk on the 4th of sept and we dont have a game until the 13th sick or what lol
We're not playing anywhere near the optimum yet - it was all a bit nervy after the own goal right until the penalty. When it really clicks we could really see something a bit special. Credit to Forestierri who was given a chance and grabbed it with both hands. I also though Hoban had a very good game today - he made a coupl of lovely long range passes.
That was the impression I had to. Leeds are in a bad way at present, yet their mid-field caused problems to ours after the own goal. I had a feeling that we are still fairly fragile sometimes and could be taken apart by a better team. More than happy to accept the result, but not 100% convinced yet.
well...that felt good, despite whatever is going on in the background. Loads of rumours flying around since the game ended...but for now, i'm enjoying the 4-1 victory (despite my 3-1 prediction in the predictions league! lol). Forestieri totally stepped up and took his opportunity brilliantly and i can't see how Hoban could lose his place when Ekstrand's ban is over..coz he's been an inspiration! Deeney on the wing is a weird one, i really don't get that. He's way to slow to be a winger and it really doesn't work, despite him holding the ball up well but when he moved back to the centre it was better. The back was strong and Tamas had a much better game, albeit with a fabulously taken own goal! Toszer was also better today, it definitely helps having Abdi back in the team, though i would say Abdi should take the free kicks...except the one Toszer scored . A great atmosphere and surprisingly subdued Leeds fans made it a good afternoon.
Its got to be good when we win by 2 or 3 goals when not playing to our potential. When this team does click we could well see a record double figures score.
