http://www.guardian-series.co.uk/sp.../9110147.West_Ham_make_bid_for_Leeds_winger/? Probably a load of crap but thought i'd give it a mention. The daily mail reinforce the idea but i cant see grayson letting gradel go without a fight How much do you think he's worth bearing in mind leeds put an 8m price tag on snoddy?
How does us having not sold Snodgrass yet make Grayson a fighter? If Gradel wants to go or Bates wants him to go, he'll go. Grayson accepts all the decisions that go against Leeds.
Which decisions of Bates' has Grayson buckled to against his will then? Quite simply, I wouldn't accept an offer from West Ham. We won't find a better winger at this level for any money. It's not like we lack funds anyway.
yea donald i tend to agree, i think unless its really silly money (ie. 15m) then there is no reason to sell. And clive, i really cant be bothered going through an argument with you, anything anyone says thats positive about grayson you jump on em. Bates wont let a player go if he's in grayson's plans unless it is really silly money, i think your way over the top with the anti bates and grayson stuff
It's a waste of time and energy having any kind of discussion with CliveTime because he's only interested in his point of view.
In all fairness, this would be a massive step up for Gradel - West Ham are a far bigger club (similar size to us) than Leeds and Allardyce is a proper manager (like our Kenny).
Now see that's a WUM. Leeds are so much bigger than West Ham that it's untrue. All I want is a better manager so we can be back in the top half of the Prem with 40,000 crowds so it's harder for people to take swipes at us.
Must not sell Gradel, unless its 10m. He's a decent winger altho has a tempermant and tendancy to miskick the ball, he'll get better tho
Unless we get a silly money offer for Gradel, he'll go nowhere. I also think that as he's probably back from his hols, the club & his agent will be sitting down shortly to sort out an extension. The season before last, he made a prat of himself at the end of the season (bit like clivetime every day). Last season showed that he had grown up a lot & was moving forward. He's still a way from being a finished article, but he's amply good enough for us & only likely to get better.
Please believe me, if Bates says Gradel goes, then he goes, no matter what Grayson wants. This is exactly the same for every player at the club. Bates has his thoughts on income and lowering the costs, this means every player is for sale and that when it comes to transfers and contracts, Bates rules.
I personally believe what happens at LUFC has been misinterpreted through years of rumour mongering and panic about the clubs future into what we hear from everybody today about how Bates runs the club. If you genuinely believe money coming in isn't going into the club in some way or other, especially with the wages we pay out (2nd highest in the league last season with one of the smaller squads in the division), then you must be mad.
Marko Not doubting you mate, but where's your evidence 2nd highest And smaller squads, we signed 19 players last season, we had too many players
If you genuinely believe money coming in isn't going into the club in some way ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yeah coming in and going straight into the owners pockets and if you dont believe that your mad
