We decided to conduct an experiment to see whether people on mobiles were still having trouble with huge threads. It seems, from the total absence of any complaints, that they aren't, so no more multiple part threads then. That can apply to Koeman's Korner as well.

Sky now saying we have gone odds on 4/6 to sign Ron Vlaar by the end of the window. Wonder how likely that is.

 

Thought we weren't after another CB. My head hurts.

 

But how much would it take to get him from Villa? £10m, £12m, if we buy him we are going to get well ripped off.

 

Let me get this right. Are we after another CB now that Florin has appeared..? If so, Vlaar would appear to be a good one.
Then there is the winger thing. Townsend - is he the only one we've got our eyes on..?
Plus I think I heard right when someone at the club, probably Koeman, said maybe 3 players are still to come.

 

I'm pretty sure every fan would agree we need another CB. Bring it on. I reckon we can survive and possibly thrive with the attacking options we have right now. That of course is assuming JRod will be back in the squad before Xmas. And that he can find some form. I'm not as convinced as some that he is quite the finished articvle. Also hopeful that isgrove will find his place.

Talking CB's; the Swansea signing of Fernandez for reportedly GBP 7M seems a very good deal. It seems there are some deals to be had out there.

 

When have we ever had an exciting last day? Sky put a reporter near St Mary's merely to be polite, but they die of boredom.

 

Meanwhile, half the sports journalists in the country will be camped outside Loftus Road.

 

Is it me or has the excitement over signings gone dead since the season proper started ?

 

The panic has stopped because we know we have a decent side now...so anyone else will be bunce as far as I'm concerned.

A couple more signings and we could potentially be finishing this window a stronger squad than when we started.

Still massive question marks

Is Gardos as good as Lovren
Can Pelle be as big an influence as Lambert
Will Forster prove to be better than Boruc
Can Tadic continue his early promise

but I think if we're to emerge from this Window with our ambition still in tact then it's important we add a couple more. I'd like us to be in the hunt for Welbeck, but I expect Koeman will want someone slightly more creative out wide.
