I'm seeing the club trying hard to find out what fans really think rather than just taking the views of a select few. In my view, it may not be perfect, (what is?) but that's got to be healthier and less open to abuse from those with broader agendas.
Do you mean those who start membership groups to add power to their own voices so they can be heard to express their own personal concerns?
Tomorrow we'll get our first glimpse of what difference the seat change have made to the atmosphere, I'll judge it then.
Far too simplistic ad ignores the wider issues. It's not just about the atmosphere, there are other issues involved from fans involved as at least the club seem to recognise. The ones seemingly okay with it, tend to be those who were not affected. There's some that would give you a good discussion on why it resulted in them not getting a season pass. IF the atmosphere improves, it can equally be argued to be despite, rather than because of the move, but a single first game against a bouncy away following's hardly a reasonable yardstick either way.
It's an interesting thought. Having a consensus on one narrow issue, is not the same as representing fans on wider issues, but I can see how the Club could have thought it does. It'll be interesting to see how any future fans groups pan out, once they've decided what they represent. It's a shame we haven't got one at the moment, as there are plenty of issues they could get involved in. The shame is, if the club decided to continue with the name change, the old hands that have left are replaced with Prem fans that are less liable to care, so it's diluted CTWD support.
