Rodgers is his own man and £16 million doesn't mean Mario will be a guaranteed starter, or that him stropping on the bench will have any negative impact, except on his own career. I think it'll be interesting to see his first day at training, strutting round like he owns the place, probably strolling through the drills everyone else is working their knackers off on Losing Suarez is ****. Not just for Liverpool fans, us neutrals loved him as well. Ridiculously talented player. If Rodgers can get Mario into the team ethic and ethos of Liverpool, and unleash that undoubted ability, then I think us neutrals will be happy again! It was the prospective bit i was getting at Dave (**** me you get grumpier every day), believe me i am worried about my team, we started the season with nine injured players (one of which has now been declared fit) and gained two more in the first game. We have signed one player since then who has no work permit and let another go out on loan so in effect we have gone from being nine players down to ten, not a good start to the season. How bad/good our team is will not be evident untill around November/December
There will be no announcement until Monday at the earliest as the Premier League does not register players at the weekend. So in the absence of any "news" I nominate uir, matth, and shwan to take the acid bath challenge
