    ... with shameless self PR.

Our new website is done, and i'm just hoping you lot can give me some opinions, market research if you will.

Don't worry about the content, want opinions on the look and feel of it first and foremost, as it's a massive tool for us.

Also, keep an eye out for a prank on one of the lads on the 'about us' page, we call him 'fat dennis' as in waterman.

    He's livid!

    All feedback greatly appreciated <ok>

I'm studying advertising so it's an area of interest of mine. My thoughts are...

The graphics, colour schemes and general feel of the website look professional and pretty in line with what you'd expect from this type of venture. Not too mention sparse enough to ensure it's not "try hard". A massive plus.

The about us part's good, it sells your abilities and preferences and that with it's jargon while retaining a personal touch. I don't want to sound like a pedantic bellend but it's been beaten into me... you're used tender age twice in the about us part and I'd consider looking at that.

The only other tiny thing I'd suggest you could change... When you hover over the section title/link it makes me want to have a bit of an epileptic fit. However that's more likely just me not being as with the times as I should.

Also that Waterman gag is class, nice and subtle.

All in all pretty impressive pal! Looking forward to hearing more about it.

Appreciated mate, i hadn't noticed 'tender age' elsewhere, but i fully agree, he basically copied mine the lazy cockney furk.

I'll edit that, and cheers for your feedback <ok>

Looks quite good. The only thing I think you might look at changing is the colour of the text, when you click on Contact us the white text clashes with the white graphics on the back ground and makes it difficult to read.

I did not realise you were in the events business, seems we both work in a similar industry. Good luck with your new venture I hope it goes well.

I will get my Mrs to have a look at it for you, she is a professional web designer.

    Cheers Vegas.

We are looking at the colouring, we're struggling to find a better fit for the writing, black looked awful, and we can't change the background because all of out equipment, signs and flyers are uniform in this way.

We could maybe fade the white in the centre background brightness, that may fix it, bastard of a job like!

Not a new venture as such, we've been promoting a while, but as we have spent thousands on gear, a full service is a logical step, as it's a bigger earner, as i'm sure you know ;)

    Ha aye understand.

No, to be honest, i was kind of fishing for that exact comment, as that was our main reservation with it.

There's a few more things to be added, we're wading through pictures from nights and trying to pick out good shots.

Not 'pretty people' more people who look like they are having a great night, and shots that capture the atmosphere a wee bit.

We're getting nowhere fast, we have 80 or so that we wanna get down to 30ish

As mentioned white text on a blue and white background makes for a struggle to read the text. (Especially the smaller text.)
Personally if I go to a site and struggle to read the text or navigate, I usually never return.

The background is a bit gay looking too. <ok>

If you are going to be posting pictures with text overlaid, make sure the text is legible as there's nothing worse than trying to read text and finding half of it merges into the image.
I would make sure your links are clearly defined too, and go to where they are supposed to. :)

Nearly had a heart attack when clicking the link as my speakers were on full. :p

    It looks good BB.

you could maybe make the white lettering bolder so it would be easier to read.
