I agree with the chap who said if Cus D'Amato had live longer it would have been different for Tyson, he only had himself to blame for his demise.
Same as I say mate,we'll never know for certain but if he did then obviously he wouldn't be on the list. Even if he genuinely didn't though the gloss now has been taken off his achievments anyway with all the accusations.
It was well deserved, but still a surprise, as I thought the respective organisations / promoters still had an axe to grind with him for the Holyfield shenanigans. Hopefully this induction will bring some happiness back into his tormented life.
Apparently so. Settled down with new wife and daughter and is teetotal aparently. Don King has alot to answer for for how messed up Tyson ended, hes made his millions off him so I doubt he cares
Would Warne taking drugs really have improved his performance though? It was recreational use, not enhancement. It's not as though his ability depended on increased speed, strength, etc. He was a spin bowler who took a 4 or 5 pace run-up and depended on his wrist technique (ooooerrr missus) so I think his greatness should go very much unquestioned.
Hopefully so. He was a real student of the sport in his younger days so I think it will give some satisfaction.
Fair point, but I couldn't call armstrong on it and not Warne. 500+ wickets in a team with that attack is phenomenal. something like 80 or more of Mualitherans wickets were against Bangladesh and he was their main attack.
