Just seen the highlights. The first chance is the proof that Sagbo will never be a real goalscorer.

And what a cock up by McGregor ffs.

Keep creating chances like that, they'll eventually find their way into the back of the net.

Sagbo should have scored early on and that for me was massive for the game. Our so called B team were more than good enough on the night. Shame that McGregor messed up but so what ? 1-0 is not that bad now the dust has settled. Sets up next week.big time.

Not the best of matches when all said and done but this is european football. Shame we got no away goal mind. A 2-1 defeat would have been better. imo.

That's what I remember from after the game Aswell, although the beer made it a bit hazy. I had a quality day with the lokeren fans in the square swapped shirts and scarfs, then after the game some of their fans took us to a local bar till 4 in the morning. And next week we're doing the same for them

Why would Ten German Bombers be offensive to Belgians? If anything, it's a unifying chant sung by both Hull City and Lokeren fans to remember the Belgian resistance movement. Another faux outrage by some people to make the fans seem like racist hooligans that support Nazism.

    What a load of bollocks.

    Facilities at Lokeren...

For reasons i won't bore you with, I ended up having to get corporate tickets for last nights game. I emailed the Premier Club to ask what you got for the extra money(the tickets were €80 each), but I didn't get a reply.

In the square, I showed the tickets to a Lokeren fan and he told me that we were in the corporate section in the home end, which I was rather disappointed with, obviously I wanted to be in the away end, but there was little we could do about it. On arrival at the ground, we were sent towards a home stand, but were immediately accosted by some of the(now notorious) Belgian storm troopers, who prodded us in the chest a bit and tried to get us to go back to the away end that we'd just left.

Following a bit of walkie talkie action, he was advised that there was indeed a City section in the home end and he allowed us through. We walked into the main entrance and there was a sign that said 'Hull City VIP Bar' and it was a very decent(if small) corporate bar, we were impressed.

But that was nothing, when we were led out to our seats, we were confronted with a whole stand full of padded armchairs, I've never seen anything like it before. I've done corporates at many grounds, but even Club Wembley Gold at Wembley doesn't have such impressive seats.

just struck me as odd for a relatively small ground, their facilities were better than ours.

Having just watched the highlights I agree on both points, however McGregor did at least redeem himself with a few decent saves, Sagbo didn't appear, albeit highlights only, to do much at all, and yes, Aluko is looking back to his best, shame on those 'supporters' that gave him stick at the end!

    That's the problem with highlights.
