Hope your both okay Macca, sounds like you got caught right in the middle of it.

I took a baton across the knee whilst trying to pick up my Mum who had been pushed to the floor by a riot shield, ****ing unbelievable.

Appalling. I hope the club do make a noise about this. Clearly Lokeren are not to blame but the actions of the Belgian robocops sound pretty ****ing inexcusable. It could have been much, much worse by the sounds of things.

Thing is, it looks like a lot of people got it on video; we should be appealing to everybody who was there to put their evidence forward and speak out against those that were in the wrong. We should find out why the police took our fans down that street past that pub (which sounds very suspicious) and why there was such a heavy presence in the first place.

They're totting up their overtime already, bastards. No mention of the hoolies throwing at our lads.

Three Hull City Fans were arrested during clashes in Belgium before and after the Hull City v Lokeren match.

Officers from Humberside are working with local officers in Belgium looking at any offences which may have been committed by Hull fans either before or after the match last night.

Three arrests were made, two for being drunk and disorderly and one for criminal damage.

This type of behaviour will not be tolerated by the minority of fans involved as it not only puts others at risk but also spoils the experience for the everyone else attending the game.

The disorder witnessed last night will be taken into account as the return leg approaches and we will police the match accordingly.

So Humberside Police are more interested in three petty crimes then investigating why and how our fans(including women, old and children) ending up as sitting ducks outside a known hooligan pub.

I generally have no animosity towards the police, but reading makes me understand why people do.

I know he's a bit of a twat, but try to contact Nigel Farage, he's the only MEP that would make a song and dance about this sort of thing.

I was in that pub before the match started - its very close to the ground and on the way in between the ground and the centre so it would be hard to avoid - the police should have sorted it but were too bothered being heavy handed with our fans - hopefully Humberside plod will do the same so the Lockeren fans can complain and see what its like and maybe the message will get back to their police - maybe that's not fair but tough **** - message might get through then that acting like ****s is not acceptable

Don't be ridiculous - the last thing we need is for our police to treat their fans the way ours were treated! This was a small group of thugs who were aided and abetted by over zealous and incompetent police. I hope that we welcome the away supporters and lead by example. From what I can gather the average belgian supporter treat our lot very well

Can anybody explain to me what the hell NAC Breda have to do with all of this? They're a club from Holland, some 50 miles away who aren't even in Europe this season. They've nothing to do with us.

The Breda lot were obviously hooligans with banning orders who fancied a trip over the border to participate in the mayhem. Like most football hooligans they had no interest in going to the game. Instead they lurked in the shadows nearby picking on innocent supporters.

The thing is Belgium like a lot of others, France and Italy amongst them, have 2 lots of police, local coppers and a militia type who are normally as up for it as any hooligans. Down the years a lot of incidents have involved them as they have an attitude of if you aren't with us you are against us. Any trouble and they tend to wade into the non local lot. The ordinary Lokeren police from all accounts were fine as were the local residents. Of course our local incompetents will make the usual pig's ear of it. Dozens of ?Huddersfield fans on banning orders cause trouble. Result-22 arrested from Hull and jailed but 1 Huddersfield fan. Millwall fans riot and throw seats at home fans. Result-loads of City fans arrested, banned or jailed but no Millwall fans. Corcoran spends time and effort tracking down someone holding a smoke flare at Everton but in the return fixture five of them were thrown onto the edge of the pitch without any action by the police or stewards? How come when there is trouble at FC and Rovers away matches the police don't announce they will be helping apprehend anyone from Hull involved in incidents before and after the match. Adding they have noted what happened and would be policing the return fixtures appropriately. Maybe that would have stopped coaches from Widnes, Wigan and Leeds having their coaches bricked on more than one occasion each.
After each year showing more arrested at Ladies Day than in a whole season of City home games do we see the police stating there is a problem at football but Ladies Day is a wonderful, good-humoured occasion with no court cases seeming to arise.
5 arrested at the last Derby with a number of flares being held up right in front of the police box and a bottle thrown at a player. Can't recall any court cases being mentioned in the HDM. Are only football fans of any interest to Hull police?
