As I wrote yesterday, the player exchange idea seems a possibility, though I'd be surprised if it is Bruce. We’ve dealt with them a bit recently and they seem to be keen on our squad players. Also, a player exchange would not be counted toward the sell on they’d owe Hudds. I must admit, I do fear, with no grounds apart from him ‘failing a fitness test’ last night and it being a player I really like, that if any player was involved in the exchange, it’d be Quinn.
Didn't Bruce say post game that he'd not had a fitness test he was just unable to find room for him in the squad as he was restricted to 21 players?
I would assume we already know exactly what he is earning. His Uncle is Steve Agnew - Our assistant manager.
The mail:- http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 Wonder who?
Only two "Fringe Payers" not in last nights squad. Bruce and Quinn. Suspect we were offered "£9m plus Quinn or £11m cash, or £15 m and we take Alex Bruce off your hands." Or am I being a little harsh?
I think it's Bruce on loan, a lot of Blackburn fans seem to think that's the case and they've been bemoaning a lack of defensive cover all window.
Well he's a good defender. Certainly shut up the back at Championship level as he's been doing it pretty effectively at Premiership level.
Seems fair enough, as said he's a good all rounder to have and would get into most Championship sides. Plus he'll know Corry Evans.
If so, preferred: 1) Fig 2) Bruce 3) Boyd - I hope not, I like him 4) or long shot punt for Sagbo? They are loosing a striker
