Beginning to feel a bit more confident about Sunday.....Spurs played last night and struggled in 30 degree heat against the Cypriat side.....had a round trip of a couple of thousand miles.....and play again within 72 hours......should be a good time to play them.....

Too right. That's like swapping your Maserati for an Astra, Sharan and (maybe) a half decent car like a Mazda 3.

Never seems to quite work. I think travelling First Class etc mitigates against some of that travel stress sadly for us.

I can't think of a Premiership team that would suit him and his ambitions:-

Man City - have enough strikers.
Chelsea - Costa seems to have started well and they look like they've done their business.
Arsenal - Perhaps this one but they have bought to a position whereby they should play more midfielders because they've spent big on creative and scoring AMs.
Man U - not CL this season and not settled it seems (probably sort that out soon though), have the reputation to tempt him but I wouldn't fancy my chances of displacing Rooney or RVP.
Liverpool - Been there, not done that.
Spurs - would you bank on them making a CL spot? They could do with a quality striker but they're playing in about the right position for them (about 6th in the league seems about right with perhaps a +/-2 place swing).

So it seems he could use Spurs as a stepping stone but I don't think his ambitions will be fullfilled in England in the next season.

I've just looked at the QPR transfer news from that website. Looks like a lot of bollocks to me, they state things like we 'won' the race to get Zaha on 17th August, all the old stuff about Holtby, Diarra etc are written up as certainties.

    Reassuring.

Yes, so have the remaining 99.9% of us but we have stuck our heads in the sand and refuse to come up for air until he decides to stay.

Either sell now or keep. Remy (or an equivalently good striker) is essential to us and the difference between survival and relegation. There are no goals in this team which was our problem last time we were in the premier league and even some of last season. Even a 12-15 player can be the difference. My biggest concern is he leaves in a week or so and we're left to scrap for unproven players from abroad, or rubbish like Kevin Doyle.

I wouldn't accept any of their players in a swap deal. Remy is literally worth his weight in gold to us.

Can't see Lemy taking him on at Fifa 2015.

Really hopes he stays now and scores the winner for us at Anfield!

I would be trying hard to improve the deal for Remy maybe keeping his options open for a bigger club but looking to get nearer 18m for him in the future

If he pokes one in against Spurs maybe expect a bid.

The line quoted by Arry - "there's been talk of the chairman talking to Daniel, but certainly I've not been involved." does raise some concerns. But then again he always like to cover his *rse and not to take the blame for anything so hopefully he is just doing that.

Love it, any opportunity, the anti-Harry gang bang about player negotiation process, that they know absolutely nothing about.

I have heard other Managers talking about whether a player is sold, is down to the Chairman/Board regarding whether a sale of player is purely down to the business side of the club, and nothing to do with the Manager.
