You don't know if sterling would have scored as Hart stopped and let him run around him

We've seen that Sterling is more than capable of putting Hart on his arse.

And Mignolet is an expert at saving late penalties so why even bother asking about Skrtel's handball? It would have just wasted a few minutes better spent trying to score form open play.

Is this a different mignolet to the one who threw it into his net at the Etihad last season?
Don't remember viewing him as a modern day Ray Clemence

If Sterling scored the outlook of the game would have changed. Its easy to point out key decision but nobody can predict what would have happened afterwards (butterfly effect). So to say we would have beaten City is foolhardy. The linesman made a mistake and that's it.

Paul what is your view on Yaya? I feel in your first season the strategy was to play him from a deep position and as teams tired in the second half you brought on an extra DM and he'd be given the freedom to push forward. I found that tactic very devastating especially in the run in. Why does Pellegrini keep him deep?

Probably because he was lumbered with Javi Garcia and Rodwell (when fit) and they wern't good enough so he had to keep Yaya deeper. Just my opinion mind.

After City sold De-Jong, they should of kept Barry to play with Fernadiniho against the better teams with Yaya to give a strong central 3. Same in the CL.

Pellegrini has addressed it now, by signing Fernando.

I expect yaya will play forward a lot more now we have Fernando and Fernandinho to protect the back 4 but he's far from match fit,was very ineffectual at Newcastle last week

Maybe I'm evil but I do that to the cats all the time- if they yawn whilst sitting on me or next to me- I stick my finger in their mouth... even after all these years they're not expecting it and give the most puzzled look when their mouth comes down on my finger.

  14. If you're expecting Toure, Fernando and Fernandinho to be your central trio, are you dropping Silva or playing him out wide with a lone striker?

Markovic is in the squad for Monday, probably be on the bench. Lallana is having a fitness test on Sunday so if fit may well be involved.
