I'm predicting Rodgers is going for 3 up front. Suarez And Sturridge were great in their SAS partnership. A trio might work better. Balotelli And Sturridge And Ricky Dear* Thoughts * Nothing unusual in calling him dear.
I've no idea what she's like as a person but physically she is flawless. Balotelli is a very lucky man.
It's got to be the SAS's tougher brother: the SBS. (Sterling Balo Studge) I'm very mixed on us signing Balotelli. He is obviously a very talented footballer and knows where the net is, and playing for 3 (4 if he joins us) of Europe's top teams speaks for itself, still young. However, he is only 24 and playing for 4 big clubs at that age comes across as very mercenary like (especially when you consider the club he is soon to be leaving is his boyhood club). Can be a divisive character and every time I have seen him play live, he seems too languid for our high tempo game. Obviously we have to see whether BR can get the best out of him and whether he has grown up enough to focus on honing his undeniable talent.
He's a nut job who only turns up for games when he feels like it. Rodgers said earlier in the summer that he would categorically not sign him. Quite a u-turn and a bizarre signing.
I was dead against him to start with when we were initially linked with him, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought it might become a good deal. He's a big strong player that can play up top, hold the ball up, run in behind. As Rodgers said before, he has all the attributes to be a top striker... Sorts himself out and £16m is a bargain...
Well he suits the plan far more than bony but I said originally no he's a nut and was happy when Rodgers denied it so while he suits he is still a nut job so all we can do is hope
Please note that one section of the SAS is the special boat service or sbs so we can go with that now I guess
Balotelli will sell more shirts. Alot of Balotelli is going to be his media status, nutjob yes but a nutjob with big name recognition. Would have preferred Reus or Falcao, but one doesn't look likely to leave and the other is too expensive, wages etc.
Very true... a bit like Rooney is probably allowed 300k pw for being the "face of United" to sell shirts in the East... and Bale was as much to improve Madrid's brand as their team. I suspect most of Suarez's value to Barcelona is brand too.
