Still it isnt sexist. If he was questioning her abilities as an agent due to her "falsies" that would be sexist.
Now without in anyway defending MacKay or Moody (if the allegations are true) i find it incredibly hypocritical coming from someone who throws around disablist comments in almost every reply to anyone he disagrees with
LMA on Mackay: "incorrect and damaging suggestions that he sent a whole host of offensive and unpleasant messages that are simply not true"
Is that a real word??? The press and the public in general, mostly the press are getting on their moral high horses. And you can image when the reporters get together, they are probably worse than your average Joe. But its nothing that hasn't been said before amongst a group of mates down the pub or at work.
Sure. That was to be expected. Like many things in life, just don't get caught. When you are then you'll have to suffer the consequences. It is one thing having a laugh in the pub, in private. Another discussing players and agents in a working environment. With the press there is very little middle ground. The inner thoughts of Mackay have been laid bare on a variety of issues.. And the FA will be expected to act.
Who sent the texts? There are two people involved. Mackay seems to have admitted to sending two of the texts. He claims not to have texted anything homophobic or sexist. He didn't mention racist texts which could speak volumes as to which messages he did send!
The LMA's press release seemed to have made things worse for Malky instead of smoothing things over. "friendly banter" - they couldn't be more dismissive of the issue if they had tried... You can see that the LMA is stuck in the 1960-70s run by a bunch of old farts who probably have some sympathy for Malky's views. They deserve what's coming to them.
Norris Cole of the PFA will be in a proper quandary. He'll feel compelled to get some publicity by condemning Mackay for slagging off footballers but may have to hold back as Mackay is probably still a member of the PFA as well as the LMA!
I can't see the problem. Mackay wrote these texts as a manager not as a player. The PFA has to defend the players being humiliated in the texts not Mackay
So they should. They appeared to trivialise the issue and they rightly received a lot of flak. Bunch of ******s.
I can forgive the text about the ladies boobies, Its the "Not a lot of white faces there" when mentioning the transfer targets Tan had assigned them that blows my mind. Does it really ****ing matter? Even if you were a racist bigot, what difference does it make if the player is black or not, you aint gotta marry him, as long as he is a kick ass footballer who will improve your team......****ing idiots.
She is. Apparently she is the partner of former Blackburn defender Craig Short. She looks a bit like Georgie Thompson.
For me too as I posted in my earlier message. It almost goes beyond the personal viewpoint. It is like " we should try to have more white players in the team". Reminds me of the French BNP condemning the France national team not so long ago for not having enough white or "real French" players.
Ridiculous isnt it A lot of Frances best players in recent years have been black. Desailly, Makalele, Henry, Viera.
Italy are terrible for it After Italy were knocked out the WC their people were telling Balotelli to go home, he isnt Itallian etc. ****ing disgrace http://www1.skysports.com/football/...itics-in-the-wake-of-his-sides-world-cup-exit He was even taunted by Itallian fans at a training camp before the WC as well
