Well, I've missed pretty much the entire game so far trying to find a link. Sometimes it's tough, but tonight it's bloody painful. If anyone gets one that works, please please post.

I am sick of watching buffering and adverts I can't get rid of.

    Thankyou! :)

Holtby booked for dissent. He's getting bad for that.
Ref did play an advantage to us when Limassol had the ball, though. Poor.

I'm hearing that any decent quality stream is getting hunted down and harpooned during the first half.

Of course, who needs a stream to say that Paulinho is not a DMF by any stretch of the imagination?

The buffering stream is about 4 mins behind the live radio coverage.

Yeah, they've just shown the Kane "advantage" decision. Fouled twice in a row in about a second, right on the edge of the box and the ball went to a defender. <doh>
    That's really, really bad.

It goes to show that a team trying to learn a system is not liable to be very good. Nothing is quite good enough to get through Limassol's defense. They look comfortable breaking up play and hitting on the break. We've got work to do before we can make the system work even against small teams, it looks like, though we do have a number of players in their first start this year.

Ridiculous non-call when Kane was hauled down going free into the box, but you'll have that away. Holtby picks up a yellow in frustration, which is stupid.

I ought to give credit to Limassol for executing a good plan with a lot of energy. They're not giving us any time on the ball. I can see how they beat Zenit.

1-0 HT. This has been garbage so far. Rubbish streams, poor performance, slack defending, dodgy shape and created very little, along with a **** ref.
We need a much better second half, but unfit players on a crap pitch in sweltering heat points to an embarrassment, I think.
As long as we can keep it reasonable and put ourselves in with a chance of getting it back in the second leg, then I'm not that bothered.

I wasn't impressed with our pre-season preparation, as I've moaned on here repeatedly and I think it's coming back to haunt us today.
A new system, new fitness requirements, a new manager and some new players are not served well by half-arsed planning on our fixtures, leading to a team that's unprepared.
Whoever's responsible for that mess needs to be dealt with.

This has to be a first. A stream where someone is encoding a stream from a stream and we have not only our own normal buffering to contend with but the buffering from the source stream. Is this as good as it gets tonight? Grrr...

I think I've watched less than half the actual game, with all the buffering. Just as well, considering what I did see.

There's always "Gift Wrapped" on ITV, or "The real housewives", "On the buses", or "The Sweeney" on the other ITV channels. "Home and Away" on Channel 5 maybe?

Forget the dozen sports channels I pay for. No. No. No. There's no way they could show this game. It's too crap.

Just remembered this game is on! Doesn't look like I missed much....

What utterly shambolic marketing from UEFA to have no TV, and meagre info on their website. It's no wonder people don't respect the Ropey League, when UEFA clearly don't give a s**t about it either.

EDIT: At least the Beeb can be relied upon to provide some sort of coverage.

No, as long as they keep letting the Champions League drop-outs participate, it's probably out of our reach.

    Exactly.

Imo if we were gonna win it, it would be AVB's first season when we had Bale and were actually half decent to watch.

The CL prize for the winners means everyone will prioritise it and thus makes it even harder to win.

We need to make a change. We're looking more likely to concede than score.

He's been very poor, from what I've seen of it. Giving the ball away a lot and looks miles off the pace.
