Panic buy. 90k a week AFTER tax. How we'll move him on after a year or two, God knows. Most importantly, he NEVER closes down defenders or tracks back. Why should Studge and Ramjam do that if he's going to stand with his hands on his hips in the centre circle like he did in the WC?

Borini without the work ethic. Hope I'm proved wrong.

Seems a strange comparison. What do you mean? Agree with everything else.

Wasn't he pushing pictures of himself in an Arsenal shirt earlier this summer?

Not sure but I read a quote a while back saying if he were ever to return to the PL it would be for either Man Utd or Liverpool as they are the biggest clubs in the league - So I doubt the Arsenal thing is true, unless it was a prank, which knowing what he's like it probably was <laugh>

Just think if we sign him for 16mil and then sell Borini for 14mil - that is incredible business. Even if we sell Borini for 10mil, we're pretty much getting Balotelli for 2-6mil depending on how much Borini goes for (excluding wages).

Most of those pics are him defending himself - especially from that nutcase Manchini. So it's a bit of a fail there Tobes <ok>

Those pics from Tobes are a reminder of what we are possibly getting, I agree with everyone that Mancini is a nutter but the others show that he's not exactly a calm character I still think that this is a big mistake.

Look borini without work rate is an unfair comment

He's proved time and again he's a much better striker on raw talent

    He's also proved he's a nut case.

I think he's got something wrong with him.... I'm no expert of course so all a fan can do is sit back, enjoy the ride and wait for him to punch a ref or something

It'll be fun no matter what and once again lfc are the most entertaining show in town.... Just how dull would the Orem have been without our constant sideshows like g&h courts cases, sackings, panic buys, biters and brilliance? Now having provided the prem with the slip that shook the world and poty Suarez we are going for fireworks this year

Wasn't it Balotelli who had trouble putting on the fluorescent bib in training so just gave up.

Apparently not the brightest bulb in the box, but may prove a very astute signing if he buys in to the way we play, tracking back, closing down , etc.

Given the choice of him or Lambert coming off the bench I would prefer Balotelli
