I know AC Milan are **** with bought titles (along with most other Italian champions)

 

AC has had a few rough years, but they're far from small.

 

A not-too-expensive price for a young-ish player with undoubted talent and (hopefully) a reasonable resale value. It's not the worst fit. 25 million on Lallana fits worse, I would have said.

 

So 16m for Italy's no1 striker who while a complete tit is proven in the Premier league

or

11m for Shane Long

Market is mental.


However, he isn't very good at quick pacy counter attacking football and that is a concern for me [alongside being a total tit]

 

Yeah... didn't want him- but surprised we got him so cheap. I would have thought him worth at least £35mill in this modern over-inflated transfer age.

I'm arguing - I don't want him! He's only a bargain if he works out (unless we somehow still manage to sell him for a profit), and I'm still sceptical on that. I also wonder what Sturridge is thinking right now.

Sturridge should welcome the competition and be working super hard to stay on form.

This signing is ultimately to help Sturridge. Keep the pressure off him.
