Balotelli at £16m is a Rickie Lambert plus a Shane Long (price-wise); or 45.7% of Andy Carroll, In any language: a bargain.

There's a reason why his price is lower than his ability. I think this could go horribly, horribly wrong for the Scousers.

How could he be worse then Suarez?

£16m is a steal for Mario.

Because it is in a much more frequent basis. And by this I mean the petulance and unproffesionalism.

Also. One has scored around 60 league goals and the other has scored around 150.

But yes it is a bargain.

    1. Suarez had his problems - but as far as I'm aware he wasn't a dressing-room nightmare whose on-field performance ranged from very good to awful.

    2. Balotelli might be a very good player when he puts his mind to it - but even then he's simply not as good a player as Suarez.

Quick question - how many controversial things can you find about Balotelli since he left Man City? One, maybe two?

In comparison, how many controversial things can you find about Suarez since Balotelli left Man City? A lot more.

How can he be worse than Suarez more frequently?

Suarez has been banned four times (three for biting & another for being a racist ****) without even being sent off. How many games has Mario missed for similar?

I don't mean the nature of his offences but more his petulance and general professionalism.

Are you really suggesting his professionalism is worse than the diving cannibal racist?

Please tell me how many of Balotelli's controversies happened on the pitch compared to Suarez's?

    His petulance & general professionalism?

If letting off an indoor firework in the khazi is more petulant & less professional than biting opponents & being racist then you may have a point.

Suarez has been an animal on the pitch but off it he's supposed to be a proper gent and genuinely nice chap.

Balotelli might not bite people and use racial slurs but he is a 'Big I Am' and does often act like a sulky twat.

I think the point is a valid one.

Balotelli is definitely a 'character', but he's nothing like Suarez. Balotelli hasn't bitten anyone on the field as far as I'm aware. Suarez is a ****.
