    am i getting confused?

i thought they had always done it over 2 years, 4th year ie todays fecking yr 10, you choose your subjects to study for next 2 yrs then do gcse's exams just before you leave school in yrs 5.

although may be dif now days as more and more schools are having 6th forms, where as it was normal when i did them to go onto college.

thank fully i dont have to worry about this bollocks with mine for a good 5 yrs or so.

does get confusing though, my little one starts school in sept, and it was yr 1 of primary school in my day, now its fecking reception then after yr 1! and most schools are primary and junior combined.

You maybe right I'm 42 and was the first year group to do GCSE's so my memory of it is not clear.

  5. GCSE's are split between course work exam(s). It was only done over one year when I was there but that's seventeen years ago now so probably changed a lot since then.

That's OK- got a few Stadivarius around the house- I'll just mail you one! <ok>

Ignore the grumpy old man in the corner... I'm not a yank! I do live in the states though.

    I agree!

    "Why always us?"

Collymore, Pennant, Johnson, Bellamy, Suarez, Balotelli

Can we not make a policy for a short while: don't sign anyone who beats up women, bites people, gets done for drunk driving, or steals toilet seats?

They look blue and plush... I think we're just using an Everton directors' chair to crap on!

Well done to luv jr on his GCSE's.

I think splitting them over two years is a Wales thing. We still sit them all in one go. One of my lads did 13 in one year, the other did 12 [he did maths a year early.] The system hasn't changed.

What does luv jr want to do for a career?

Would he make a career by being a sheep, or make a career out of 'doing' sheep?

One thing's for certain, if I lived in Wales, I would be buggered if I'd be a sheep!*

*That works two ways. Pun absolutely intended.

Balotelli has said his goodbyes in Italy.

I'm actually really excited if the rumour is true - fee of about £16m agreed just on personal terms now <ok>

If he plays, he'll be virtually guaranteed to either score or get sent off (or both).

Depends how quickly the deal is done and if he gets registered in time.

If he signs tonight you should be able to field him on Monday no problem.
Think you have to register your squad 48 hours before kick off.

Has to pass a medical yet. Remy failed!

The most disappointing thing about this is- he has awful hair! Bony had better hair!
