Hoping Anderson can chip in with a good few this season. He's started well.

You're right though Warkie, pathetic goal return from midfield and this needs to be addressed.

Without looking it up I would guess it was Anderson?

Our Defenders scored more than our midfield did last season and Berra on his own scored more than our entire Midfield put together! <yikes> This is truly shocking and this is the main reason why we are not pushing on! Oh how I yearn back to the days of Magilton, Reuser, Holland!

Tommy Miller... he was our last goalscoring midfielder (that belonged to us)

    Indeed he did... :emoticon-0183-swear

Was never a big admirer of his so have quite happily overlooked that period in Town's history... One thing that needs pointing out though is the number of Priskin assists for Norris' goals

By assist do you mean fluffing his shot and Norris getting the rebound? <laugh>

There may have been a few 'accidental assists' in amongst them but I remember a classy couple of touches away at Pride park to put it on a plate for Norris.

I am certainly in the minority but I always liked Priskin.. He had a fair few shockers for us and rightly we let him go but there was a good player in there... at least there was before we signed him and ruined him.

Ah yes Priskin or as we affectionately used to call him "Mr Offside" or as we used to yell at him "Oi Priskin, Stay On Side you.... " I have never known a player to be caught offside as many times as him! <doh>

Yep JWM, he didn't know the offside rule when he joined us and he didn't know it when he left. I think he accrued more offsides in a season than the rest of the teams in the league combined.

Assume you never saw Kevin Lisbie play.

The only other thing he will be remembered for is of course that goal against Arsenal but it cost us £1.9 Million for the privilege!

It's gotta be Wordsworth hasnt it? I think if he were to play all season he'd get at least 10 goals for us beem very impressed with the few games I've seen him in with his late runs into the box. He certainly reminds me abit of tommy miller, generally on the ball he's pretty good but doesn't get on the ball enough fades in and out of games too much but makes good.runs into the box.

speaking about Tommy Miller I remember one reason why I wasn't that.much of a Mick fan before he came here, he ruined Miller, I mean who would take a prolific goalscoring midfielder and turn him into a defensive one, this goes back to what San Diego was saying, you just have to play to the players strengths sometimes.

The only fair thing I can say back to this is = Keith Andrews.

He may have been a goalscoring midfield sensation for us, but what else did he do the other 85 minutes or so a match?

Midfielders certainly have to do both sides of the game, especially a Mick McCarthy side where at the minute we're only going to have 40% or so of possession!

However, surely a striker like Jack Marriott can be let off slightly and we can play to his strengths!? I have only seen him play once away at Chippenham in a pre-season friendly and he looked relatively busy. Also, at Woking apparently he was darting into the channels!

Paul Green - Last game of the season against Wednesday. If you meant a player we "own", then it was Ando against Bournemouth.
