The deal to bring thirty-year old striker Antenucci to Leeds from Ternana has been moving along since Kieran Agard’s move from Rotherham fell down over personal terms; Antenucci has travelled further than Agard to have discussions with Cellino today, his agent usefully providing a selfie from the boat to the airport. https://twitter.com/silviopagliari/status/501949153854099457/photo/1
Emanuele Giulianelli ‏@EmaGiulianelli 12s +++ Exclusive Nicola Salerno: "The negotiation for Adryan still goes on!"
Am I the only one thinking the experiment with young Italians has gone far enough, and we need some experienced Brits brought into this club. Not journeymen but players who are likely to be in the team week in week out. We also need a blood and guts captain.
Another couple of months of this and I will want an owner that let's a MANAGER be responsible for all on field matters from transfers, squad to tactics, and who selects his own coaching team.
Updated the OP with latest ones, cheers guys. Had to remove all the nice animations from the "done deals" ones because I was way over the allowed amount of images in one post
I forgot where I read it. Think it could have been a link off Twitter but we're meant to be in for Nick Powell of the Scum
[http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/leeds-united-plot-move-for-highly-rated-creative-midfielder/? Another creative mid linked!!!
This buying players thing is getting ridiculous. I'm glad we got rid of 12 player at the start of the summer but do we need to buy 20 more players. I don't think we're going to sell Hunt, Norris, Tonge, White etc, etc, etc. until the summer. We're going to have like 39 senior squad members
I am starting to fear it is a scatter gun approach, players from lower league football who are willing to sign on the cheap hoping some work. We failed with Cooper due to wages and Cellino had to eat humble pie and go back for him. We failed with Agard due to wages yet he joins League 1 Bristol City, we failed with Sorenson due to a greedy agent and Viviani due to? (wages??) I wouldn't be surprised to see Adryan failing to join, greedy agent or wage demands. I guess it is Cellino's way, he owns the club, he knows what he wants to pay and we just have to hope that who he brings in can do the business. The only reason we have Hockaday is he is cheap.
