Their fans seemed to think he had an attitude, was unable of stamping his authority on a game, and looked a pale imitation of the player we saw at Watford. They did seem to think it may have been partly [though certainly not wholly] down to their off-field issues.
A wide midfielder is someone like Beckham, Milner or Snodgrass, in my opinion. Salah's more of a pacey winger that likes to cut inside.
"Rumour: Deal agreed between Cork City and Brighton for the transfer of Brian Lenihan. Up to the player now to decide. #ccfc84 #bhafc #hcafc"
All roads lead to Jordan... Another forward linked!! At 12 million quoted you have to wonder why we sold Long before we had a plan B
Linked by the Mirror to i wouldn't believe that to be honest then lazy journalism by the Mail they have just copied their story they do that every day!!
I would really like 5 of the below. Obviously including loan spots. Jordan Rhodes Vincent Aboubakar Wilfred Zaha Tom Carroll Ryan Christie Michael Dawson Mousa Dembélé Brian Lenihan Zaha and Ince in the same squad would be immense. Jordan is worth £8million at the most. Blackburn fans using the Long deal as a bench mark and think he is worth at least that and more. They don't realise that Long is proven at this level and causes problems for teams at this level. Rhodes could easily be a flop.
If you're in for a midfielder from us i can see it being Chalobah tbf. Van Ginkel was used a lot in pre season and impressed and Salah would probably leave us a bit short for attacking midfield spots only leaving Willian, Oscar, Schurrle and Hazard. Just my opinion mind, could be completely wrong. Seriously though if you go for anybody from us it should be Lewis Baker. Head and shoulders above anybody else in our U21 squad IMO.
Linked with Ben Pringle from Rotherham. Guessing to fill the Snodgrass void... http://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/Cha...y-player-Ben/story-22795979-detail/story.html
Hmmm, I've seen him play before, I'm not sure what to think about this. He's got a decent cross on him but if he was brought in to be a central player he might not need it. He'd be quite cheap, no more than a million pound but you never know when dealing with Steve Evans.
He’s in his mid 20s and was released by Derby (I think) a couple of years ago. I’d be surprised that, in this time, if he’d somehow become better (or even as good as) what we currently have.
One Wes Hoolahan could do a job for us... I thought he was going to Villa, but nothing came of it. City could make an enquiry as Narich have just shelled out on Cameron Jerome
