if i was one of the blue few i wouldn't be impressed with the numerous poor signings made to be the man u of the conference where as on the other hand i'm impressed with FGR signings having Jon Parkin and Lee Hughes up front......... rovers have really ****ed up, long live Higgs & Clarke #legends
I've not put this up to provoke but this is what some of the "gasheads" think of us after the latest bust up, what was said was vile and disgusting and cjs or anyone did not deserve it but let us not forget it's a 2 way thing, vile language, snide insults and derogatory comments have been made by both sets of fans for a considerable time, perhaps it will now cease or ease off. I am sorry cjs has decided to quit 606 and he will be missed, I also hope good wums and banter continue, I love winding up the NON - LEAGUE "gasheads" but lets hope the idiots on both sides have taken note of the supermods warnings. On a personal level any OTT insults, any obvious bigotry, any racism, any religious insults, in fact bullying or any unlawful acts will be removed without warning, RED or BLUE, that's just my statement as an individual MOD. I still want an open forum with all sensible points of view allowed, so I will continue our tradition of openness and non interference but any of the above is not acceptable to me..
I think this a wake up call for everyone concerned, I’m a relative newbie to the forum but I’ve been shocked by some of the stuff that has been said from both sets of ‘supporters’ in the name of ‘banter’. This is not ‘banter’ this is utter bile. If we were discussing religion or ethnicity it would be potentially illegal but because it’s between two different sets of football supporters people think they can say what they like. Here is a definition of bigotry, can anyone tell me if this differs to what’s been happening on both forums ‘Bigotry is a state of mind where a person views other groups with fear, distrust, prejudice or hatred solely on the basis of ethnicity, race, religion, national origin, gender, disability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or other group characteristics’ Ok rant over, lets all live in harmony people??
Can someone clarify for me? Was Multipleaccs, Massive or not? Gas has stated he thinks he isn't and others have stated that he definitely is? ?? I didn't see the comments made on this thread but from reading between the lines I assume they may have made mention of CJS brother who sadly passed away last year, that is most definitely a line crossed too far.. I can't and won't condone that in any way. I was shocked however how quickly Multipleaccs was rounded on, the regular posters on there obviously thought it was Massive straight from the off and to be honest I never posted or read their board around the time massive was banned, so I don't know what he said but they were clearly upset by it? I'm confused because I genuinely didn't believe from the way the posts were worded that it was Massive? but hey thats no excuse for the subsequent comments. One persons banter will be another persons bile, it will depend on your perspective, I have spent some time considering if the 'banter' has deteriorated on here and on reflection, overall probably not, but with relegation and other issues involved this will inevitably make passionate people who care about their club a little more defensive or sensitive than normal. but for some of you newer posters I have seen far worse posts both on here and on the Gas site over the last few years than what's been written on here lately (taking aside any personal comments regarding CJS obviously.!!) A line crossed on this occasion, yes definitely. I for one will be winding in the 'banter' and will refrain from posting on the Rovers site. no one should ever be upset by words on a football forum and this is clearly what has happened this time. I sincerely hope that after a period of reflection CJS will reconsider and return to the Gas board..
Mate, I honestly believe it's not massive, no way, I have seen massive and Multipleaccs names side by side viewing threads, unless one of them runs 2 computers just to fool us. We all can get affected by words and the ones over there making the most noise are the same people that hand a load of it out.. No reflection on cjs, he should not have had those vile comments aimed at him but he has been one of the main protagonists over the years..

You are conflating banter, including jokey insults, from most posters on here with individuals such as APL, Massive and 'multipleaccs' who indulge in vile personal insults, racism, threats of violence, wishing death upon others etc. etc. The two are very, very different. But in your partisan eyes, because they're 'reds' that seems alright. The supermods have banned three BCFC members for doing the above - stop being an apologist for the indefensible. Your whole post insinuates that those who indulge in banter should expect to be the recipients of disgusting insults about their dead relatives. Take a good look at yourself in the mirror and reflect on how you would feel if someone said something similar about someone close to you. Would you deserve it because you'd engaged in banter? Thought not.

If you wish to check through all of the recent threads involving exchanges between cjs and others you will find out I did not contribute one comment about or against him. As for your very weak comments about me deflecting attention, don't be such a f**ing asshole, I'm the one that put your very strong comments made on your forum on our board for all to see thus gaining attention on your behalf, I'm the one who closed the thread that caused the anguish. You don't know the private actions and conversations I had with the individuals that were banned or their consequences, so as far as I am concerned you are a non entity just blasting your mouth and blaming everybody with crimes you are indeed guilty of yourself. I hated the comments made about and to cjs with regard to him and his brother, it was disgusting, I have made that known publically and privately to various people on the RED side over the last 24 hours, I just have not blasted it all over the forum. This isn't about you Wiz. All of us - everyone who indulges in banter has received the same insults as you allude to, and worse. Also, I have not once accused you of having any involvement with the disgraceful comments made against CJS, so I have no idea why you are being so defensive about it. Let me put it as simply as I can. Can you tell the difference between the following: 1. Bluebaldee you are a useless, spineless tosser who supports a hopeless non league outfit. I thank you for admitting this is not about me, why you had to drag me into it I don't understand, my comments were made on the Red board and aimed at Red members, I hardly ever make comments on your board, I never make criticisms of blues over there and have not done so for over 2 years, I do look in to keep up with your demise and fans observations.. I am not interested in engaging with you about my doing a MODS role as it is none of your concern but I will say your point 2 is both shocking and vile and has no place on any forum. Now I really do want to end my conversations with you and your fellows, as you said it's nothing to do with me..

Loathsneyd, You will find it difficult to understand this and I perfectly understand that. but there is a history of original posters on here that have bantered in this way since the inception of this site. (and 606 before) to us there is an unwritten understanding of who we can do this with and we are a similar type of people but from different divides, BB, Gas, Chris, CJS and a few others know they can pretty much abuse me as much as they wish and they understand I will return it with the gloves off, I have been reduced to belly laughter at some of the abuse aimed at me and others and we just understand that it is nothing more than fun (bad taste admittedly, but thats why I find its funny.!) it's not to everyones taste and you can pick up quite quickly who are not quite of the same ilk..I think I may have misjudged this myself with CJS recently , I have pretty much stayed very low key in banter with CJS in the last year or so due to the tragedy of him losing his brother. I thought he was back to his old self but on reflection he clearly wasn't. the comments aimed at him were beyond that line. A re-set is needed and maybe we all need to consider what we write about one another, I have seen comments about Wiz that I have considered unsavoury and bordering on personal abuse, but an insipid, too nice forum. Whats the point of that.!
