The defence isn't good enough to all out attack them at Parkhead.

Izzy can't defend at all now. He's susceptible to balls over the top and anything in the air to the back-post, also his passing in our own half was rotten. Lustig looked better at LB and Izzy looked more comfortable further up.

Overall I thought well though, agree with Brum as well. Best game Kayal has had since his first season.

Decent performance. More pluses than minuses. Not a fan of Stokes but he put in a good shift despite clearly not being suited to the lone striker role. Johansen is starting to look like a quality player and young McGregor has a bright future ahead of him. Agree with Venom that our defence is shaky. Every team we come up against know that we're susceptible to diagonal balls played over Izzy. Denayer was mostly to blame for their equaliser but it was a mistake typical of a young defender.

I can't see us keeping a clean sheet next week so I suspect it'll be a case of us scoring more than them if we're to proceed.

Lustig gets better with every game for me. Either that or he just looks good in comparison to the rest of our defenders.

He's played RB, LB & CB in the space of a week and strolled through the games.

A game of two halves. In the first we went for it and pressed them high up the park. Which worked out well for us as they gave us too much respect and sat in deep. Should have went in at half time in front.

Second half we sat in more and decided to take what we had back to parkhead. Had a couple of chances on the break and should have had a penalty. They didn't really trouble us much apart from one or two hairy moments caused by our own stupid mistakes. We really need to cut them out. Pleased that ronny is learning that you need to adopt a different philosophy in Europe.

Well maybe thats the problem with our defence, I would expect a professional athlete to run now and again.

Lustig has been one of our best players for a long time now.

I wouldnt blame Denayer for the goal, Virgil was out of position, Lustig was sleeping, it was comical defending from the full back 4.

The first 10 15 could be important because Maribor will be all over the shop in the Lions Den, provided there is a decent crowd, and if we can get an early goal before they settle into it then it could be a comfortable night. If we dont score before the game calms down then it could be another nervy night.

We are holding the aces, all in at the start, if we are called.... just need to slow roll them.

To be fair, we were guilty of diving last night, esp. young McGregor.

I think Johansen is my favourite player now.

    Kayal was brilliant.

I was totally satisfied with last night - I thought it was quite a tactically mature performance given the team set up over the past couple of games.

Way too many instances of Celtic being naive in Europe and losing games to diving bastards.

We're no in the moral high ground business we're in the fitba business.
