Heard this morning that Liverpool are in for Balotelli. If true thats good news for us if that comes off as that only leaves Arsenal looking for a front man. Fingers crossed!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28878088
Didn't see that one coming ,good if he does which hopefully mean Bony will still be wearing white this season (until January at least ).Ballotelli is no Suarez but still a very good attacking threat .
I'm not sure Bony is actually wanted by Liverpool even if this doesn't come off. The fans are against it and Rodgers plays to that audience.
Liverpool are waiting for Bony to lower his wage demands , something I think he will do as the window begins to close .
If Bony doesnt go to Liverpool , his agent will be burning the midnight oil making a deal elsewhere imo .
Hopefully all deals will fall through and bony will stay, if he goes I suspect Gomis will play a lot and be the signing of the summer while Bony spends half the season sitting on benches. Doesnt that seem the way here, players perform amazingly with us but then dont get the time with other clubs.
Its looking good for Swansea to keep Bony, if liverpool are out of the running are there any other Prem clubs that might come sniffing.
Great news for us that Rodgers has looked elsewhere. As long as Spurs do not spoil the party with a bid, then we have the luxury of having two quality forwards at least until January. Bony's country,Ivory Coast, has an Africa Cup of Nations opening match qualifier in Group D,at home to Sierra Leone,on 6th September, but it is in doubt because of a ban on international sports events in the country. The Ivorian Ministry of Health and Ministry Of Sport made the decision on Tuesday because of fears over Ebola.
