Don't often post forcasts but as I had a dream (? nightmare) about this one last night it seems rude to my subconscius not to.

1-1 with Yoshi scoring from a corner. Some git scored for them.

We were all over 'em but couldn't get a second.

I'd like to see Taider get some game time. I didn't see him play a bad ball against Leverkeusen and I saw plenty of excellent moves and passes. Everything went where he wanted it to go and he displayed a quite astounding level of awareness of the other Saints players for someone who'd only been here a day or two. I'd love to see if it was beginner's luck or (preferably) that he's utterly awesome.

Just had a quick look and our first seven games last season were (in thousands)

Only one in August was the first game and was Sunderland and the gate was just higher than the average for the next six (which was 29.4K) - they were all against mid-table sides, same as the first one, so probably comparable. Odd, as I'd expected the result to back you up.

I had a dream last night that we won 3-1. Just as plausible. Only not horribly so.
