Happy with the fact that Ronny has learned his lesson. Not pretty to watch but fairly effective. In a week's time at Parkhead we should be good enough to win.
Good result. Decent performance, vastly improved upon either Legia game. They weren't very good. But then, neither are we.
Another good game by Kayal too, excellent midfielder if he can stay fit. Few errors at the back but its a new back 5 if you include Gordon and will get better the more games they have together. New centreback just like VVD, comfortable on the bal, good to see Kayal and Mulgrew Mulgrew drop in and let them bring the ball out now and again. Still very early in the season for us, hopefully do the job next week and Lawwell might spend some cash!!

Well, that was a decent improvement on the previous round. Maribor were **** but we were alright. Under no illusions though, if we don't bring in one or two more players then we're going to really struggle ion the groups. Gordon's looking more and more like the 'keeper of old. Really hope he stays injury free. Can't believe folk were bumping their gums about his signing! Thought Stokes was alright but still not good enough. Either way, should win next week based on that game. Just hope Pedro opens the purse again.
I didn't see it so my opinion is totally worthless. great result though I am led to believe we should have scored a couple more. Will ronny employ the same tactics or will it be all out attack in the second leg?
