Lots of people on here had wanted Harry to go and were saying that MM would be the replacement of choice ... Methinks we have dodged a bullet.
Totally agree mate Much happier with our team as it is now than at anytime in the last 10 years. the whole club and staff are "on the Up"!

At the risk of sounding conceited (oh well, why change the habit of a lifetime?) when Flyer and a couple of others were calling for 'Arry to be replaced by Mackay during that bad run last year, I said the grass ain't always greener and it was the same the year before when Matt Lucas and Nigel Adkins were the next biggest things in English management (where are they now?). I'll say it again: We have one of the best and long may he reign over us.
First from memory, but I expect my memory is wrong, it was me and not Flyer who was so keen on Malkey. I was going entirely on his record at Watford and then at least initially at Cardiff. Which even the "I knew he was a bad one" mob must admit was really outstanding. I do not do background personality searches when posting comments...but perhaps I should do. I have now read the report in the Mail...(the Mail!!!!!!) And if correct, and if only half is true, we have dodged the bullet of a really nasty (and dishonest) little man. I was totally wrong. Not only did QPR dodge a bullet. I certainly did. So we can all be very content now....we have a lovely manager...just shame about his dog
That (The Mail article) is a sorry read. Foolish, foolish and even more foolish to put that sort of comment onto a phone, hard drive etc. When the Thought Police arrive, it will be foolish to think it too. I wonder if this will go to some way to healing the relationship between Tan and the Bardiff fans?
I think Mackay may well be out of the game permanently after this. No place for such attitudes nowadays...
The thing is there's still these attitudes around football. It's improving and it makes the headlines as it's the exception. But these attitudes still exist. Remember when the row blew up over Neil Warnock and Jason Puncheon - well there's no smoke without fire, and what's the chances of that same player being dragged into the row over leaked team selections; irrespective of involvement. It was telling to see his image used amongst others whilst the article referred to this.
There is only one place left for him now .... Talksport! (They've probably been on the phone already.)
Crikey...didn't see that one coming! The way everyone was out in support of Malky when the whole Tan incident started you got the impression he was a nice guy, a manager footballers wanted to play for, and the way the pundits were fawning over him for putting up with Tan, you'd think he was footballs' Gandhi! But no...underneath it all he was just a massive racist and a homophobe. TV work in a far flung country is the best he can hope for...Cheerio Malky, cheerio!
