Truthfully and joking aside. the only way that I could envisage that scenario happening, would be to for Humanity/Mankind to wake up find out there is intelligent life elsewhere in this Universe that then would put paid to all the insular and binding ideologies that we have imposed on ourselves over the millenias - so to answer your question probably not.

nope, that's not at all what i'm saying, this is my point about not wanting to post, i just mean 1/3 of all babies born in the uk will have completely foreign parents.... i'm half australian and half scottish... like i said one of my mates is from afghanistan, i'm open to people from all cultures and i love exploring it.. , but there has to be a line.. i'm talking pure foreigners coming over.. there has to be a line.. look at canada and australia i know a fair few guys who have a german mother due to meeting their father at the Uk base in germany.. you missed my point
Hi Allan, I'm still just a little confused about your post mate. I don't want to get into an argument about race, religion, etc, but when you say there has to be a line, where do you draw it? Is it okay for Aussies, kiwi's, yanks, canadians to cross the line but not others? I'm not having a go, just not sure what you're "line" is.
Neebody's suggesting that mate. One of my mates married a Canadian lass, when he died they tried to deport her. Do you think they'd have done that had he married a Pakistani woman?
i meant look at their immigration laws.. even the yanks.. there has to be a line to how many people you can let in.. as part of the european union.. why is it only our responsibility to accept these people? like i said, if they can offer a suitable skill or a decent positive to society then sure.. but you'd be blind if you denied that most of these immigrants are coming over with no skills that contribute to our society.. heck my ex girlfriend.. moved to new zealand with her new bf who had family there.. they were there for a year.. but they had to return to the uk.. as their visa wasn't accepted.... and it should be the same for yanks, kiwis, aussies, canadians.. just like their immigration rules apply to us... if we can't offer a decent contribution to their society.. they won't accept us.. but we accept any foreign **** and they get benefits.. that's my point..
Cheers I appreciate you took the time to answer my question - albeit I also maybe a foreigner too, so my kids could still be the third you're making a point about - I don't see any logic in your statement and I would consider it small minded and bigot (racist in fact) - 'foreigners' are not the problem! its the indoctrination and religious baggage that humanity believes in- trying to persuade and convert their usually unwanted ideologies onto others that's the issue! its the fundamentalism the doctrines and politics and those attributes unfortunately belong to whole human race.
i never said foreigners shouldn't be allowed here... ofcourse we should accept foreigners.. read my posts... but hypothetically.. say 200 million people wanted to come here.. should we accept them?
I agree with using the points system that Canada, Australia, New Zealand uses for immigrants. Nowt wrong with that. We should do the same. At the same time there's a hell of a lot of Eastern Europeans over here doing a lot of manual work on the cheap that local employers, here, in the south east, can't get Brits to work for, for the same rates, and they'd go out of business if it weren't for the poles, latts, lithuanians, etc. What I do have a problem with is where people just generalise, whether it's about immigration, race, colour, etc.
Aye, nail on head again. If I was gonna move abroad I'd want to go to Canada but so difficult to get in there. Have ultimate respect for the Canadians.

I didn't say I was disagreeing with you. I was just adding on the issue of generalisation of race, religion, colour, etc. It's at that point racism can grab hold and corrupt a reasonable argument.
my point was about all foreigners, yanks, aussies, canadians, somalians,french,egyptians... it's all the same... we are not the only country in europe... we're one of the smallest nations in europe...
We are just a soft touch when it comes to government handouts and benefits. No argument there. That's what needs knocking on the head - making it pointless their making the effort to come here. It can't be right that Eastern Europeans can leave their families back home to work here and then "earn" child benefit and send it back home to their families when their kids have never set foot in the country. That's just crazy. That argument doesn't or shouldn't make me a racist. That should be an argument about economics, not racism. I hate it when discussion about the Middle East starts being an anti-Muslim tirade though. It's like saying all Northern Irish are terrorists, or all Americans are racist.
