I was driving along today listening to talk sport as I do during the day and was interested to hear Bob Mills (80's comedian) who is a regular on Colin Murrays morning show, he was commenting on the City V Orient game as he is a big Orient fan and travelled down with his son last night to watch the game. His take on the game as an away fan was that He was watching two very good sides that were both equally good in defence and attack and although the game was a 0-0 affair it was a very good game. I happen to agree with him. I am certain that both sides will see that as a point gained last night by the end of the season. He also commented that he was particularly impressed with our defensive midfielder Marlon Pack (and named him) who he thought had a very good game. I happen to agree with him and I am left reading some comments both on here and OTIB with incredulity. I grant you he played a couple of loose balls but he also broke up play well and played some great defence splitting balls through them. It seems it takes an away fan to see how good our players are, I think Cotterill got it largely correct last night. (the JET sub was pointless) El Abd.? bit mystified myself but we had 4 corners with him on the pitch and would he have scored a header from one it would have been hailed as inspired.! Its football people, the other team want to win as well.! sometimes they do a good job too.!
Don't be stupid, you know we should walk this league with at least 5 goals a game, sometimes Banksy son I think you're on another planet
'I think Cotterill got it largely correct last night' in the first half. Clueless 2nd half and he/we got what he/we deserved.
He will and right when we need them, I honestly wonder if some people thought Wilbraham would keep scoring 3 in 2...
Well, one always hopes… Another goal scorer would be interesting, but I do worry that our GK, defence and midfield have got everything required. Maybe one more in each department. But then if we are buying a future star it could be a bigger slice of magic further down the road
