Whatever happened to that lad a derby that everyone was raving about last season, some were even saying that he'd go to a top 4 club this season, sorry forgot his name.
Will Hughes? He's alright, he was 17 and playing first team football, so people assumed he was awesome. I don't think he's as good as Jeff Hendrick, who I think we should be in for.
Yeah, i saw it on an interview on SSN with Burnsey, and also i think someone put a tweet on here from HumbersideSport that said we'd made 3 offers.
I think it was from Burnsey shrotly before he boarded the plane to Belgium. I don't think we'll see anybody in before Stoke, simply because between travelling to and from Belgium, training and the weekend it leaves just 2 days, assuming the player doesn't play on the Saturday. It's a shame, because it means we're going into our second winnable Premier League game with one less player than we had before, when really we were expecting to have one more in by now. Snodgrass' injury will have sped things up a bit, but I think it'll be Monday at the earliest before we see anything.
Bruce when asked about Aboubakar: “He is someone we are aware of and he is a very good player, but whether something materialises I am not sure,” he told the Mail. “We haven’t made an offer, but we have had conversations. “But at this stage we’ve had six or eight conversations with clubs and different players.” Bruce is looking for reinforcements following the revelation that Robert Snodgrass is likely to miss six months of action with a dislocated kneecap. The sale of striker Shane Long to Southampton means City have cash in the bank, but are behind on bodies for Bruce’s liking. “We have lost two very decent players in Long and Snodgrass in the past week, so we will keep looking,” he added. “There are two or three offers that have gone out, so we will see. “Before the end of the window we have to bring someone in. We have lost Robert Snodgrass now for six months which is a massive blow for us. “So we will have to be in the market because we have been forced to.”
Jamie Ward has never been and never will be a premier league standard player. Hendrick would be a 100 times better signing
Vincent Aboubakar has a deal with FC Porto, says footmercato. Would be a big coup, he's been wanted by both Benfica and Sporting. This on Twitter-looks like we will miss out on him?
Bruce tonight rubbished the Geoff Cameron talk but said he had a lot of irons in fires (as always)... we will see.

Timing is everything. We seem to be getting a bit desperate now for signings, but had the Snodgrass injury occurred the week prior at Trencin, we would never have sold Long to Southampton unless they had upped their offer closer to £15M
