Bristol City have agreed a deal with Rotherham United for Kieran Agard, Sky Sports understands.

Leeds had been in talks to land the 24-year-old last week, but that deal broke down.

Now City - who first made a move for Agard earlier this summer - have now returned with an improved offer which Rotherham have accepted.

Agard has now been given permission to travel to Ashton Gate and discuss personal terms with the League One outfit.

Just personal terms then.. this could be a problem considering the rumoured wages he wanted at Leeds..

If this is true then SL has delivered in a quite gobsmacking manner

With Flint throwing down a gauntlet (and Fielding making a fairly decent fist of it yesterday), it seems that goaly and striker are the only options left unless Messi wishes to play his football in Bristol

There is no way we'll be offering 16k. He'll be lucky to get 6. If he does sign for us then it's obvious the rumoured 16k wage was lies

I wouldn't want to move to leeds. They think they are a big club but they will potter around mid table for years. Plus they have a questionable manager and dodgy chairmen.

IF Agard signs and Sammy stays, how on earth are we going to line up?

Would swap him for Wilbraham and keep the same line up. Harsh yes but we have a great squad and that's what gets you promoted. Rotation is key, if Baldock fails to hit the net in the next 3/4 games we'll need other options.

Could be Shiny. I can't see how Cott's can fit Baldock, Agard AND Wilbraham in the side without dropping Ayling, moving Little back and playing Agard on the RHS.

No way can you drop wilbs at present he is doing the business.

Said he would be here this week.

Bye bye Jet shame but cotts wants 100% every week.

That would be some front line baldock,Wilbs, agard.

That has to be the best in the division.

Now for a goalkeeper please steve.

JET, Baldock, Wibraham and Agard. Cannot play all at once- Rotation is important, but we are not Chelsea- Cant help thinking that Baldock could be on his way. There is only a year left on his contract. I just cant see us allowing it to run out and letting him go for free next year.

Baldock and JET on the way out and let's move on with the business of getting back to where we belong.

Thats a good attitude Inver, but I really hope we can retain both.
Baldock has already made it known that he is happy here. If that changes then so be it, but there would need to be personal issues for Sam to leave unless a stella offer came in. I don't imagine that any of our players are dissatisfied currently. They are either too new or riding the Cotterill wave.
