United are paying Nani's £5m a year wages while he's on loan so the cost for Rojo is more like £18m.
Yeah, the "Next Ronaldo" never really materialised did he? So much for him being like Ronaldo only younger and going to take the world by storm. Have to pay to loan him out.
He showed moment of brilliance but was way too inconsistent. Seemed to believe all the hype surrounding him. I often thought we needed a player like that, someone we hadn't had since Garcia, someone who will frustrate the hell out of you sometimes but will also produce those moments that win you a game. Luckily we got Suarez and he did that but on a consistant level! That's why I think Balotelli wouldn't be awful. He will produce moments that will win you a game. You can have a team full of 11 consistent players, but 11 Dirk Kuyts won't win you the league.
https://twitter.com/bbcmerseysport/status/502154172025032704 I understand we are bidding £40m to buy outright.
AnfieldBond: According to RMC Sport, Liverpool are considering offering €15m to take Falcao on loan which includes an option to buy for €50m. #LFC
http://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/football/monaco-liverpool-veut-formuler-829215.html Monaco: Liverpool wants to make an offer for Falcao Reportedly, Liverpool seriously considering to attack Radamel Falcao for. The Reds plan to pass on to Monaco with a loan offer automatic purchase option. The amount of the loan would be paid 15 million euros and the call option would be around 50 million euros. According to a source close to the ASM, "the club is aware of the strong interest from Liverpool but the supply is still not arrived at the offices of ASM." Stay tuned.
If Tobes didn't actually realise that was what we were talking about - I seriously question his mental health.
Assuming correct, that is: £12m to loan. £40m to buy. Would that £40m to buy be in addition to the £12m to loan? Or does the 12m count towards that.
@bbcmerseysport: Paul Joyce of the Express: "To get Falcao on loan you're looking at £20m, but it's my understanding the #LFC owners would do that." Phil McNulty retweeted the above and this is anfield retweeted below @RBairner: #Liverpool set to make €15m loan offer for #Monaco's #Falcao, according to @mohamedbouhafsi. Automatic option to buy worth €65m. #LFC
Not a realistic thing... just adding all the loose rumours together. Sturridge leaving. Unlikely (based on advertising he wanted to learn Spanish) Balotelli and/or Falcao joining. Either one unlikely based on twitter rumours.
