    If the quality of a player is measured in goals alone then I guess Ross Barkley is a poor man's Jonjo Shelvey (yes that one)?

    To be honest Markovic is the one signing you have made that I have been immensely impressed with, and who I think will improve you the most.
    Though your defence was so gash last year Lovren will improve you a lot, despite him being nothing special.

    Lovren is the one I wanted least (didn't know anything about Origi so I'm excluding that one) but I think he will be the best signing of them all. Its obviously very early days but I reckon he is going to be exactly what we've needed at CB. Vocal, composed, calm, decent tackle, footballing head and good in the air too. I reckon he'll be our new Sami hyypia so long as he doesn't throw a hissy fit next summer and insist on moving clubs again.

    Barkley's had one full season in the first team and outscored Shelvey last season, so as per, your 'point' is bollocks.

    If you try and make a smart arse comment, it helps if you get your facts right. As Barkley outscored Shelvey in his one full season as a first team regular i.e the last one.

    Oh well........

    Difference is Shelvey assisted 6 whereas Boss Rarkley assisted **** all

    Right..... Shelvey some people like but has a short shelf life (I hope).

    Barkley everyone should want to look at but will prob end up fat as **** with tits round his ankles
