Even with the league finish I think everyone agreed our midfield was better than yours last season, we've now got Ben Arfa fit again and replaced Nolan with a better player on paper (Cabaye). Is your midfield significantly better with Gardner and Larsson?

Read other people's posts. People have said that some of your squad would get into our team already! You've made up this entire thing!

    edit; HERE

So why are you going on about it?

And as for your first post?

This was it. After Smudger said that.
We then asked you which of those players would get into that first XI - which you ignored and went off on a tangent about last seasons squad.

It's better balanced, and we actually have someone who can deliver, that is a huge gain for us, and may be the making of Whickam.

Hehe cheers. Most of the proper fans (Not the WUM's) tend to stick around our own board as we seem to get quite a bit of stick elsewhere.

    <laugh> Made my day that!

Thanks again. You 'geordies' ain't too bad either!

Worth the risk. Is it a village that you live in, or near a tourist attraction? Many English?

He is a good crosser, is he seen as a replacement for El-Mohamady in the starting XI?

Without a doubt mate, he lacks pace, we know this, but his delivery and passing is what we have been crying out for, 2 goals from set plays all season is a ****ing shambles.

Elmo has potential, but he'll have to fulfil it to get games, he needs to put himself about more, and have more confidence running at his man.

He could make it, it's 50/50 imo.

A tangent? That team has, what, 9 players from last season? My point (alright, might have been the second comment, whatever) was that you ALWAYS say this. I don't think that's unfair or untrue.

I agree with what Smudger says above about your midfield being better than ours over the season, but ours turned to butter in February for unknown reasons at a time when we were clear in 6th. Before then, I would have kept most of ours.

I see you made the deal permanent though, is he any good at right back? Didnt realise he was only 23 either, actually.

We're in a place called Elviria, 10 mins drive to Marbella, it's Spanish as ****, but that's what we wanted, the place itself is like an English new build inside though, there's pics on Facey, have a gander.

There's a few English, and once you get to Marbs i'd say about 25% are Brits, but it's not chav Brits, everyone's working and making good money, you have to, it's pricey as ****, even petrol is higher than UK, i was ****ing livid!

Well cleeeearly we were on about 2 different posts then ha <whistle>
In all honesty, I never like to get in any 'who has the better players' debates, because as pointed out earlier, we're all going to be slightly biased obviously.
Yours had the better run of form at points last season.
But then we also had Ben Arfa out.

    It's a silly debate
Can't we all just get along :(

  17. Yes but i responded to a person who was talking about last season, and this time last season, who we would have taken from each others teams.

TBH he is desperate to go to Liverpool. LFC are paying silly money for young English potential, so who knows? Ipswich have said they have to match our £13M though and I don't know how much they have in the kitty.

Sunderland's bid is an initial £8m-£9m with add-ons that could see the fee rise to £12.5m

I personally thing working on him as a right back would be best, he's very quick, and he would be a good compliment to Seb's lack of pace on the overlap, if the season started tomorrow, he'd be right back, we need a left back, and i'm still hopeful on Roger Johnson.
