Brucie did say before that we will bring in 3/4 more players. I suspect one of the three offers is for a striker, and Aboubaker is our fall-back.
Fourth? I meant one of the three bids is for a striker, probably someone cheaper than Aboubaker. (The other two players will be a centre-half and a midfielder)
It's not to say that any of the offers might be loan bids, especially given what's happened to Snodgrass. Given the interest that's mounting in Aboubakar, it'd be wise to keep schtum on that one, in case a bidding war breaks out.
Troy is way over priced for everyone. So Vincent but not for more than £7m. imo. True. But any deal would have to include add ons etc etc. Interesting that. But i still think that Dawson is our preference despite what the media are saying at the moment. If not good enough yet then put them both in our development squad then. Sorted. No chance. Reports from Manchester now have it that LVG will only allow Nani(now gone), Zaha and Anderson to leave. As the Red Devils struggle to get anyone of quality in LVG will have to work with what they have for now. Man Utd will have to use this season as a stepping stone(to get back to where they want to be) sadly for them. imo. The other top PL clubs are way ahead for this season. It is gaining pace this rumour but John Ruddy hope not true. Forget supa dupa hoopa. We have no need for a pupa scupa at Hull City imo. I would rather we had gone for Billy Sharp who is a better striker anyway. But now i would rather us play Robbie Brady up front than waste our wonga on Gary fecking Hooper.
Why ? We have Quinn and Meyler is hardly shabby either. In saying that Powell can play up front which imo would be a better option.
At this rate I can't see us having anybody in before the Stoke game, which is a shame as Long will have been gone at least a week, Sagbo is still suspended (does the Lokeren game count toward his suspension - I'd guess not if he played against Trencin) and with Snodgrass now out we're starting to look a bit fragile in the attacking areas. I don't think Brady is ready yet, which is a shame because he's exactly who I'd use against Stoke. I'd like to see another attacking player in before Sunday, but I can't see it happening.
IMO, we dont need to rush replacing Long just yet. In saying that SB does have the issue covered. We shall just have to remain patient. You know that is not a bad shout. i would offer £1m with add ons. Good money for Trenchin. Rap is crap. Sorry.
