Despite speculation regarding players and the whole Adams appointment stuff, you have to say it's been a good week.

I think Adams is starting to find his feet, he got it all wrong against Wolves but the last two games he's got it bang on. We have a Derby coming up at the weekend, something we haven't had in a while and let's hope it kicks off our away season as well.

Another positive is we may have bought a goalscorer to the club in Lewis Grabban, something which has been elusive since Holt left. He has started really well, it would surprise me if he gets well into 20+ goals again this season and we still have Hooper to come back.

I may sound fickle after my comments from Wolves game but I honestly didn't see many positives in that, the reaction and spirit shown in last two games has changed my mind. I'm still not entirely sure about the Adams appointment as it's still early days but I'm being won over after beating 2 good Championship teams fairly comfortably.

Nobody knows whether the appointment of Adams will, in the long term, prove a wise one. Certainly in the last 2 games I have seen more attacking intent than I ever saw under Hughton and more long range shots and goals in 2 games than 2 years under Hughton. As I have said all along - just give the man a chance. Unfortunately I think that some fans were so anti Adams that they are now angry that it has not fallen apart immediately. The same applies to players. Our fans always seem to want one player to be on the hate list. I thought it was going to be Wes but he has played too well to allow that to happen. Then it was going to be Garrido but he hasn't put a foot wrong in the last 2 games so the prize passes to Redmond. OK, so his crossing leaves a bit to be desired but his pace caused both Watford and Blackburn to panic and lose their shape and his link up play with Garrido and Wes has caused the opposition loads of problems. Why can't we just wait and see how things develop over the next few months and just enjoy the little bit of success we are having at the minute.

Highly encouraging, and I am expecting a 70-75%+ home win return this season, with 2 or more goals featuring very regularly.

If NA can get the same levels in the away games (always the hard bit), then there should be nothing to fear this season.

It's really good to see Grabban scoring even if he does make a meal out of penalties and a near open goal, and what has got in to BJ? 2 in 2, and both delicate, placed efforts

Really sums up my feelings as well YL (also completely agree with the posts by 1950 and TC). The way NA seems to have learnt from the debacle against Wolves and changed formation is refreshing and I can't remember the last time I've seen or heard CR rocking so much - VERY proud of the way the team applied themselves after the initial shock and subsequent siege on our goal.

My only concern is that the players need to be aware that the game starts at the first whistle!!

Seems as though NA may get his desire to 'make Carrow Road a fortress' if he can keep the nucleus of the team together and get them playing with the same desire and passion.

Well I always thought the first four games would tell us something.the way I saw it was this:5 points or fewer we were in for a hard time 6points or more and we were in contention.Let's be honest all four opponents are top half with top six aspirations and we have made our six points with one of those games still to play. And let's not forget that any result Saturday lunchtime will see us go top..I feel the green and yellow section at PR clearing their throats for an old refrain,,,:emoticon-0159-music:emoticon-0159-music "Top of the league at Portman Road"

Absolutely CT - if that doesn't spur our players on, then NOTHING will!!!!! <laugh>

Methinks it might silence those who still doubt the appointment of NA as manager. If the team plays as it has done in the last 2 games, then there is no reason why we can't. <ok>

One point off the top after 3 games. I think a couple of weeks ago everybody would have been happy with this. For me so far Adams has done a good job. Yes, he's made mistakes, but as they say “The only man who never makes mistakes is the man who never does anything”. The players he's brought in are looking like quality buys at the moment and whilst I would have liked to keep RvW & Fer I can't say I'm that surprised they've gone. For me I'm not really fused at either Snodgrass nor Pilkington leaving and the contract extensions have been good i.e. Hoolahan & R Bennett. I particularly like the way we don't appear to have paniced and seem to be looking past the immediate challenge of getting back up to the Premiership and thinking about thelong term future of the club. The negativity of Houghton's stil seems to have been pushed aside and I get the feeling the team is predominately behind Adams and the team atmosphere seems good. Whilst I don't know I suspect that this has been helped by Bassong & Bechio being sidelined

In summary for me Adams early report would be Well done so far, Keep up the good work and if you can get rid of Bassong & Bechio for a good price so much the better.

Yes, a very good week. Perhaps people will cut Adams a bit of slack now and see what happens. A draw at PR would take us to the top and a win might just keep us there. Let's focus on that.

An excellent week from a couple of potentially very tricky games. Good to see us scoring well as we had hoped and now it is all about momentum. Already we have seen that the usual rule of the Championship, i.e. everyone beats everyone else is alive and well as Bournemouth and Reading found to their cost last night. A win at Portaloo would be awesome and send a real message of intent to the main rivals.

Do you think that he might try a couple of youngsters at Ipswich who are born and bred and just unleash?

Good week? Good day as well! Turner signs a new contract, Cuellar signs, Jerome completes medical, and Nathan Ake is coming on loan. Oh yeah, £9m plus add-ons and 20% sell on for Fer. Good day all round 'd say!

its certainly been a good week. after the wolves (non performance) i was very down but the two homes games have really lifted the spirits - especially last night - and a couple of canny signings to boot. that was a tough, tough game and against an extremely physical and streetwise blackburn team. but we came through it, showed some guts and then expressed ourselves. should have won by a bigger margin in the end. if we can avoid defeat against the binmen on saturday then i think we can be happy with our start.

Just to add some humour to the week Mark Fotheringham has started for Fulham tonight...and somewhat unsurprisingly he's been booked and they're losing

Thank the lord I'm not a Fulham fan.

Only 3 games into the season but it's not looking good for them at the moment, out of the 3 relegated teams they are the ones really struggling to adjust back to life in the Championship. I would be both pissed off and depressed if I was a Fulham supporter right now lol.

But thankfully NCFC last 2 games have given me a reason to smile and be positive about :)
