Lorient now looking to hijack the Morgan Amalfitano deal. Sam wont be happy if true. Lol. Yes i agree. Max Clayton would be a very good addition to our squad.
So what's people's preference Troy or Vincent ? To me the Cameroonian is more what we are looking for
Lets be honest once we go after some of these foreign players most of us haven't got a clue, were relying on our scouting system and Steve Bruce, they got it wrong with Prozzy lets hope they come up trumps this time or else selling Long could have been a bad move. Hopefully it will all work out well this time round
Troy does not look value for money. Vincent could be a masterstroke or an overpriced Sagbo. I would have preferred if we'd gone after someone like Victor Moses on a loan and used the money to try and replace Alex Bruce and cover/competition for Huddlestone.
I mentioned that the other day, weird. I don't think Max Clayton is the player people make him out to be, he's had trials at Sunderland and they weren't impressed, while Wolves have cited a massive fee from Crewe as the reason they can't be arsed. He's actually out of contract, but Kenny Jackett, weasel-faced tosser though he is, has said that even if they signed him he wouldn't be anywhere near their first team anyway. So he wouldn't be anywhere near ours either.
Another yank? The last one we had turned out to be well...****! http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/66/united-states/2014/08/18/5043271/sources-cameron-asks-for-transfer-away-from-stoke-city
Avoid this guy like the plague. He's awful and shouldn't be anywhere near the US team....never mind the KC. No thanks!!
I think most of us would avoid him, unfortunately it's not us doing the buying. From everything that I've read about him I'd prefer us not to sign him, but I'd also have to say that 'in Bruce I trust'
Radio Humberside have just Tweeted. #hcafc have made 3 offers for players but boss Steve Bruce isn't revealing who. No bid for Vincent Aboubakar but there is interest.
Max Clayton is currently on trial at Everton. Edit: Apparently, that was last week, he's on trial at Bolton now and they're expected to put in a formal bid shortly.
3 formal offers and none are aboubakar... but there is interest. All very interesting. Does that mean we're looking to bring in 3 more players or could it be offers to 3 Strikers and we will pick whichever gets accepted. I can't possibly think that we make one offer at a time and wait for an answer before trying someone else.
We won't be looking to sign all three. At least I wouldn't think so. As you say, they won't do it one at a time or they'd never get anywhere.
