I do feel sorry for this Leeds fan though RichardLufc ‏@RichardLuFc 19m **** night at Elland Road, just to rub it in, a 95th minute equaliser from Millwall against Sheff Wednesday cost me £350 off £2.50, **** off not
I don't care what streams you listened to. What they described was a thousand times worse in the flesh. I can't believe I am writing this but I have just witnessed the most spineless and enept performance by a Leeds United team ever. BHA played us off the park for 75 minutes. Not one player put in any effort. If there were any tactics being used they weren't apparent to me. Zero closing the ball down, zero penetration, zero meaningful shots at goal. If Hicasockpuppet ever had the dressing room he lost it tonight...... Never seen anything as inept from a Leeds team. He has to be sacked and we need to start again. Shocking!
Surprisingly little as it happens. I left with 5 to go so don't know what happened at the end. If that is hocks best he better be clearing his desk tonight. We will get mullered on Saturday.
It's your midfield mate - Austin and Murphy are not up to this level together - and when has Smith EVER had a good game when he's started?
It was the whole team mate. Byram injured or w ants out, centre back pairing don't work. Midfield is invisible and don't link up with the attach, sharp is not match fit. Smith can't play with no service. They ain't playing for the club, that is down to the coach. Three league games and we have been outplayed in all of them and got lucky against the smoggies.
I said at the very beginning that Hock will be found out, and players will lose respect for him ... well, it's showing on the pitch now ... if I can't take him seriously every time he opens his mouth, how the hell can we expect the players to believe what he says? Cellino has made a blunder hiring this fella, he was on a hiding to nothing and needed to do something incredible to sway opinion in his favour ... he clearly hasn't got the x-factor, and what happened at FGR is now happening at Leeds, only quicker ... I feel very sorry for Hock, he is a coach who should stick to putting out cones and washing bibs, because running drills in training is a darn sight different to building a team and keeping a dressing room strong ... the question is how long will Cellino tolerate this, because he must be spitting bullets right now after that embarrassment tonight
Byram not up to the job but seemingly can't be dropped. I've never seen anything in Murphy. On a good day he's average at best, Austin is all huff and puff with little end product. Given the numbers of new players available, it's more than surprising these guys seem to have their places cemented down
Never went but sounded awful on the LUTV, I would drop Pearce Byram (when Berardi is back) Austin Tonge Murphy (biggest waste of £1m ever) & Smith. Cellino is right when he says we need another 6 players!
People on twitter saying at least Austin and Murphy tried - Bianchi was just a passenger - this true? But your coach thinks the midfield is fine? Phil Hay @PhilHayYEP · 47m Hockaday says more quality is needed but denied that the midfield isn't strong enough. Also said the team could have width without wingers.
Let the opponents have 4 yards of space before you close them down and they will run you ragged, so disappointing and Byram has been ruined by warnock Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've been waiting to see this slick passing game that Hockaday has been crowing about, and an excellent example of it was there for all to see in the first 45 minutes. Sadly, it was BHA doing all the passing. No commitment from anyone in the first 45 mins, and much headless chickenry. Second half we competed a little better. Still waiting on this passing game. Things of note from this match: * Although I'm a fan, it was clear that Tonge just doesn't have any pace at all these days, and has to go. Immediately. If only we could move his head onto younger legs. * Austin has taken a lot of criticism of late, so I watched him carefully tonight. Can't recall any stray passes from the man that's supposed to give it away all the time. He also won a lot of ball. Have to say that some of his passing was outstanding. * As the season progresses, I'm getting more & more concerned about Pearce. And not just as a captain. * I'm also a big fan of Smith, but he should never have been played from the start tonight. He's not got the pace or stamina to harry a fast-passing team. A liability. * In his interview after the game, Hock the Cock blamed the players for the first half. Apparently they should have worked out what was happening & sorted it out. I have a big problem with this. Clearly, they did nothing. And more importantly, neither did he. He waited to half time to make his changes. Whatever happened to coaching during the match? Big fail in my opinion. ext failure was the changes he made. His aim was to play '1 on 1'. i.e. contain them. At home. 1-0 down. WTF??? Does this guy want to win games? I could go on & mention the subs, but why bother. I'm drained of all energy after watching that!
