According to Tony Barrett, LFC insist it was 75. Who cares though....up to club to balance books and up to club to explain the diff if they start claiming no more money for new buys....until then it's just a number.
Who's to be believed, the selling club and every news outlet or the club and its president that have recently been done for dodgy tax dealings concerning undeclared transfer spending and have helped their star player to find ways around tax laws.
And Lavezzi too? Likely to get Bony me thinks and that in the last week/day of the Transfer window.. Or maybe no one if Borini doesn't want to leave?
I believe that we're interested though. Rodgers has said a striker is essential and our net spend is still well below 60mil. But I think falcao is holdin out for Real
Huge risk this one. He was really good. Is he still I also agree if he holds out he holds out and it could be done on August 31
I think he'll score goals. The guy can finish no doubting that. Whether he's worth £45m and huge wages remains to be seen. If he wins us a cup, keeps us in the CL and helps attract more names next summer then maybe it'll be "worth" it.
£45mill is a lot for a 28 year old- but it is the going rate for a truly top-class player these days... unless you're Dortmund and stupid enough to give your players £20mill release clauses...
If he means the difference between 2nd and 1st or 5th and 4th... he's worth it. If we still finish 5th- he might not be. If he means we win the title this year (no I don't believe that we will, even with him) - then he'd be worth £100mill! (I realise prize money wouldn't be that much... but just winning the title once after so many years will be fantastic, we live to win remember! Besides... it would rejuvenate us commercially and help long term to attract sponsors... but forget all the money... to win a title again would be fantastic)
Well I guess we will see in the morning which sources believe it I expect caughtoffside, the mail, daily star will be all over it mirror website too I doubt sky will carry it bar paper talk section
